Yeah, he did ban that account, but you "begun" and banned the other account first, and I assume Dwight banned me on instruction from you. I just didn't want to put blame on any people publicly, as I don't feel that is necessary.
They banned me for a day because of "abuse of auto-click mod: simultaneous accounts". As far as I know, I've always kept up with the rules regarding automated actions, and there has, to my knowledge, never been one that disallowed you to use multiple accounts at the same time
(and I was also kicked for being "afk while automining", when all they did to contact me was saying hi once in local chat and kicking me after a minute...)
the thing is: I had my headset connected to that computer so if she wouldve simply pinged like they used to it wouldve been no problem.. now looking for reasons to kick me..
If you have to rely on sound to get your attention, then what were you doing? In order to click and interact with the Minecraft game, you have to have the window open. If you did, then you would have seen the message or seen that you were clicking at nothing half the time. It was just a simple kick to remind you of the limitations of gameplay.
I was working on a non-profit public project for EMC on singleplayer. Since it's very distracting to have a screen with a player mining all the time, I put it on my main screen, and then alt tabbed into that singleplayer client.
You must have modified something in order to allow the continuance of clicking while actively playing in another client. Whether that's changing your mapped keys, running a macro, or something else. Play on one account at a time from here on out. Simultaneous world interaction is not allowed on multiple clients.
I wouldn't see a reason for why changing a mapped key from for example left click to U wouldn't be allowed, that's a regular minecraft setting.
I could also just as well lie and say that I wasn't doing anything in singleplayer. I don't like lying, so I won't do that, but thst is very easy to get around.
Changing it specifically so you can get around game play mechanics is the issue at hand. Going forward, remember that we only allow auto-clickers to save our players from carpal tunnel syndrome, not to allow them to mine without actively paying attention.
If you have two computers and have sound on both... its been fine to be interacting with the world on both as long as you can respond. Just like head farming.
If you are using auto-clickers, this would not be allowed. If you want to prove you are doing so without modifications (You are actually sitting there clicking two computers at once for hours), then that's fine. You would be able to react within only a few seconds if your attention was this devoted. Rules have not changed.
