i feel like it's lost it's style. Way to many people have left and it's got barely any staff.

I do agree that we need more staff.

We have lots of staff, although in my opinion, there's no such thing as too many (as long as they're good, active ones, of course).

I think that we should have enough that there's someone that we can always talk to most of the time.

I definitely agree that we need more staff. There are many staff members that aren't very active, and an important part of being staff is interacting with the community. That interaction can't occur when they haven't been in-game... On a different note, I would like to encourage everyone to engage nicely with new players. More players joining the community and enjoying themselves will always help too. =)

But perhaps the ratio staff to players is very different in-game than it is on the forums?

parts that i dislike about the staff are:
takes days to reply on pms and doesn't reply to reports. when ever i am online there is no staff! (night time for me) so annoying

I agree with 607. I think there are too many staff to players. There’s 18 staff members or something and around 300 consistently active members. If you need anything, PM another staff member too. You don't need to pm one then wait for five days. They're not robots.

i agree with the fact that they aren't robots. but then again many times i have been pm'ing staff and i see that they go offline so that ok i don't mind but then i see them online over and over again,

then 5 days later i get a reply. i see emc like a company, i pay good money for special perks of this server just like many others and what i have been doing is; I've been going to by idk like

200$/400$ worth of supporters and i go to pay for it and realise, its not very worth it as it was 100 days ago. The server has died.. i mean as CTJx said it has 300 active players? didn't we just hit 500k? why only 300? that means that approx 499,700 have left or are not active or play anymore?

I cannot say you are wrong because the player count that is here has been lower recently than it normally is. Yet somehow, I don't think I can describe it as dead. This is simply because it's still here, and players come and go. Sure, there are so many ways that EMC can change to become a larger server and attract more members.

Here, we can do the thing that all the other servers do with game modes and minigames. Yet at the same time, EMC is unique in its own special way.

EMC is also run by a company, as most other servers are. Hypixel, Mineplex, you name it, it's now under a separate company that hosts the server. EMC is owned by Starlis, yet it's different because the way they run the "company" here is not for profit, instead, they run it so players can have fun.

and no, I'm not saying that you're wrong in any way, in fact, I too think that EMC can change for the better because it's getting a bit boring with no new players that are active. Sure, the notable ones, Jewel, Raaynn, but is it truly dead? Even after so many rough spots like this over the last six years, it still can't be classified a dead server quite yet :)
