I'm not sure whether I'm using 'to enjoy' properly, here. I feel like I'm not, and yet I feel like it should be possible to use it like this.

Can you explain what you mean (maybe in Dutch), I might be able to say whether it's correct or not. :)

Either way, good to hear you had fun. :)

Ik bedoel, kun je moeilijke dingen genieten? Het klinkt zo positief...
Because no, I did not have fun, so I think I did make a mistake here, if you think I did. :P

You can definitely enjoy difficult things! For example, I like mountainbiking, and that's sometimes very difficult, but oh so fun! :)
However, it depends greatly on the difficult event whether it's fun, just a bit fun, or not fun at all, and that's up to you to decide!

I do, however, think that you should try to "up-happy/fun" events in your mind, and try to make the most of it, and look past the less fun things and more at the fun side. :)

As you saw, I had an eternal amount of homework and tests and things to hand in to do for yesterday, which sucked to no end, but I did still find a little joy in it. Every time I finished something, it felt great, and gave me a bit of a boost to continue with the next thing. :)

Ugh... I have been trying to find a different word, from Greek, from Dutch... but I don't seem to be able to...
