You're coming on that long soon 607, it should hit you soon - it is quite a long time really, think about what age you were when you started and how old you are now!
That's true! But to me, EMC is a very important part of my life... so that's I think why it doesn't feel like that long. I mean, EMC has meant a whole lot to me, and yet I've been on it for less than half of my life. ;)
It's important to me too, though I feel like a lot has changed since I first started, I was a completely different person and I've changed in all sorts of ways in those years, a lot to think about over that time!
I know that I have changed a ton since starting EMC. When I first joined I was super paranoid and too terrified to talk to anyone. My worst fear was accidentally doing something resulting in a ban. At this point nearly 1k days later, I enjoy talking to all the great people in the community, and can't even imagine ever doing anything that would get me banned. =D
When I first joined I probably talked too much! I got kicked once by Hamster for getting a bit too excited about selling horses when they first came out :P I've always loved making friends within this community and I feel like I really fit in - I've had loads of friends over the 5 years and I'm thankful for all of them and the ones that have stuck through with me!
