Now they're going to send a mechanic over next Friday. The worst part: I'm convinced that they messed up themselves by applying the wrong firmware on my modem. But try explaining /that/ to a helldesk drone :/
Not quite since it doesn't work. Their administration says it should be working is all. So here's hoping I'll be back upcoming Friday (I'm /very skeptical).
Well, all leds on my cable modem light up, including those which should be off, so theoretically is could also be hardware failure, though that seems very strange (why now all of a sudden)? Oh well, 2 more days..
Still... The moment we get more than one provider on the cable, or my house gets a fiber connection then the first thing I'm going to do is dump this incompetent ISP.
