Eventual 1.8 update?

  1. Does anyone know if 1.8 will eventually come out (On EMC)? I'm not asking when it is or how long, just if it is.

  2. It'll come, absolutely.

    The main concerns for Aikar (the owner / head developer) are two fold: stability concerns (but those are bound to get fixed over time) and work related matters (follow link).

    As you can see he definitely has the update to 1.8 in mind.

  3. ShelLuser is right, Aikar is busy at this moment in time and the 1.8 update will need some ironing out before it comes to the Empire, too. Though no doubt, 1.8 will eventually come to EMC, it is just a matter of time! :)

  5. Just planning a big build and wondering if I'll have the blocks available.

    And yeah I know Aikar is a busy guy, got lots on his plate. He does a good job for what time he's given.
