  1. It should also be mentioned that with the right items, a low max bid increment can also be used as an auto bump feature, as was seen in Jack's book auction long ago.

  2. Can we auction off A DC of Horse Eggs with different stats
  3. has it been determined what the length of time a buyer should be allowed to have prior to making the payment? i haven't heard from my buyer in over a day. it would seem logical that if you bid that you should take care of the auction within 24 hours.
  4. Sometimes people bid but they don't have access to the computer for a couple days
  5. that isn't the case here, he messaged me two days after the auction ended but has yet to send the rupees
  6. Lots of people may have access to a tablet or phone but not a computer. Just give him some more time. You can always send him a reminder pm about it.
  7. there you go.. 48 hours. so auction ended on Monday and now it's Thursday and I have no rupees. he should be fire from life.

  8. I don't think the current rules are fair for people with not enough for a double chest. For example,I have an SC of speed potions that I want to sell, and in order to do that,I have to add an extra 27.And say you have a stack of emerald ore that you want to auction. The auction rules prevent you from doing that.
    Doesn't seem fair to me.
Also, there's a loophole in auctioning with anvil enchanting. You can have 54 cookies, and enchant them all with an anvil and auction them.
  9. auction is for bulk items, that is how the auction for this server is set up. if you'd like to sell items, there is a section for that.
Think about it, if the rule was "A stack of the item", we'd have 2,000 auctions with a stack of gold, iron, etc.(Sugar cane? =D)
the rules, in my opinion make sense, even if i can't defend them well =P (Its three AM cut me a little slack)
  10. That doesn't make me think its fair.
  11. "fair" - everyone has to get the same amount or more of X items to auction them, EVERYONE... I'm fairly sure thats what "Fair" means, equal circumstances for all.

  12. I think you're confusing "fair" for "easy." The current rules were established after a long period of unregulated auctions to prevent auction spam, which even with these guidelines, is too common.
  13. I think you can auction anything in game as long as you don't spam the chat with it and keep it off the forums. Some one correct me if I am wrong on this but it is what I have seen on smp1.

  14. I can't give a "for-sure" answer, but this seems to be the case, I've seen on many different servers people hosting in-game auctions..... 1/3rd of the were just annoying, because so often people do spam when they do those.
  15. Golden Rule: Keep them in local or res chat, only allowed town chat to advertise you are holding one, and dont spam the advertising.

  16. I have a question. Would I be able to auction a DC of grass and grass blocks? i.e. Grass.png
  17. No, it must be DC of the same block. For example in your case "Dc of grass block or Dc of grass" would be a valid auction.

  18. I thought as much lol. I paid someone to get me 16 stacks of grass blocks but forgot to say blocks so now i got a heap of grass lol
