Although I'm atheist and that means nothing to me, imagine spending eternity in a place, believe me, you'll get tired of it. Btw, there's somewhere in the bible that there was a war in heaven, I'll find it later.
I do not believe in souls or anything of that sort. But I think you may be right in this case. I guess the new robot would be similar to a clone of me (which would still be pretty cool). Maybe I am young enough that scientists will invent robot augmentations before I die.

That's not what I meant. It will be pure bliss for eternity, and that's probably as close to bliss as we can come on Earth.
I don't think heaven would be like that at all... I read somewhere in the bible (can't remember where) that everyone will be naked in heaven. But most people who die are really old, so that would just be disgusting...

Okay, so, in the beginning, Lucifer and a third of the angels rebelled against God, and were defeated and cast down to Earth. They are now in a constant battle against God for our souls, (spiritual warfare and all that). Once Jesus returns in the second coming, Satan will be overthrown permanently, and locked in Hell. According to Revelations, God will then recreate the Earth, and there's lots of different theories on all that. But, in Heaven, it's not gonna be like living in WWII or anything like that. At least, that is what Christian theology teaches from the Bible.
Again, that was just an analogy We will all have new bodies in Heaven, and if we are naked, it will not be kinda disturbing like it is now, it would be like before Sin entered the world. The Bible is not overly clear on describing Heaven, but it will be awesome, that we are sure of.
