If possible, I thought a few of us could run through the districts and do this, partially for my own benefit as since im going around and repairing the areas, this way if something has been griefed or if the owner doesn't even care anymore, the supplies could be used elsewhere. If this sounds like a good idea to reimplement, please let me know, as it will save time and resources.
And in reply to all of the posts about their houses and buildings being griefed, and how repairs are going, as I've posted about before, I have been systematically running through all of the districts and have been slowly repairing the LLO. As I am using many of my own resources and have been logging on and repairing by myself, it is indeed slow going but I have at least noticed improvements on parts of town. I have not gone underground yet, but I have noticed multiple caves that actually extend from the spawn to certain homes within the LLO, so if those are not in use by members, they should probably be closed up to prevent griefers an easier path. Like I said before, if you have been griefed, or if you know somewhere that has been highly damaged, please either post it in reply to this post, or PM me with either the coords of your building in mind, or leave me a sign in town along with your district number so that I may repair it to the best of my ability. As said before, I have been leaving signs in front of certain homes that I've been repairing, you may not notice them if you aren't in the area or if I have finished before you arrive to its place, but please leave the signs there, and if you want to be kind, please leave material donations within a chest that I may further use to repair the LLO. Contact zulu9 if you're running low on supplies. He's in charge of the griefer repair fund and would be able to give you some rupees to replenish your building materials.
I dropped a bunch of track on the white and brown lines. I didn't have any powered rails, so it is not a perfect repair by far.
Are you sick and tired of griefers? Simply don't make the same mistake above and PM it to new LLO'ers instead.
We are an outpost for everyone, unfortunately this also means the occasional Griefer but if the staff of EMC aren't intimidating enough with the reputation of LLO. I don't know what is.
At the time I put myself as retired there was so much going on I just couldn't take it. I had dealt with the drama llamas in this thread and at LLO. At the same time I was dealing with a troll in town who decided to attack me for no reason and insult my mental health in front of everyone in Town Chat. He's not the first "child" I have had to deal with here. This is the second minor that I have stressed over and worried whether or not they were going to feed their parents some b.s and I have cops at my door for some perverted thing that I didn't do. He continued to harass me on alt accounts even after his first was banned and he went on to tell people that I'm a horrible person because of "what I did to him."
I'm so sorry that you had to deal with this Just know that we all love you and that you can always talk to us if you need to. If anything bad happens again, you have us backing you up, so no worries. :3
I have the same issue, i have around 12 locked chests and someone keeps nabbing my animals and enchanting table, only things that ever go missing I actuctally use silk touch sometimes to pick up enchanting stuff when i'm not using it. I get stolen from alot because i think i'm the only one still in the jungle with an intact house
Not that i could really do much (As i have not been here in a while) But you have my backup if needed! Besides the fact if said minor DID say anything, i am pretty sure we have an extensive chat history log, that would prove what he is saying wrong. As far as i know the mods can go and pull up chat logs at any given time (Correct me if im wrong here) And they have records of all the private messaging.
Just let the repair crew know if you notice any extensive damage and we'll do our best to help out :3
It actuctally seems like my house is the ONLY one that hasnt been griefed around the original jungle area, my club (Now in ruins) as well as the houses of most around me are deserted or look like swiss cheese. I think a while back someone tried to fix the club (Ender Club) but it never really took off. (Edit) Forgot to say thanks
