  1. umm, its considered griefing if u claim land over somebody's locked chest, and if its locked, then i dont think they can open it anyway. so, pretty much, u wud tell the mods, they wud temp/perm ban the player and remove their claimed land, then u wud go back there and ur chest wud be just as it was before the land was claimed

  3. A way around this would simply be to enable locked chests to operate on the protected land in the wild. So even the protected lands owner won't have the ability to access/remove them. This wouldn't be allowable in the spawn or outpost protected areas of course.

  4. Personally, I'd prefer it so that it just wont let you claim anywhere that has a locked chest (except your own) on, but after you claim the area, you're free to place locked chests down, which override perms.

  5. Like they said before you, if someone claims your base/land, they will get in trouble, and the land will be unclaimed. Likely, since Aikar is good at coding, he will probably make it so that the owner of the egg being used will have to own all locked chests in the area, or it will deny the usage. But you never know, maybe Aikar is coding this so that everyone will get griefed and they will lose all of their stuff...

  6. I think this competion will be fun for alot of players ,but now that everyone knows about it there has been alot of fighting going on between the teams. Other than that I think it will be awesome. I think players might fell left out if there peers do not allow them in the team or group. So, iif somone wants to join your team let him or here join.

  12. I think the wording is a bit off... I think they are all excited, ready to fight this dragon - win or lose. I don't know about you, but this makes me happy to see how well this whole project is falling together.

  13. Yeah all this fighting the dragon talk has been getting people all riled up and then coming to my res every now and then in armor and swords swinging at my dragon trying to beat the competition. lol j/k

    Its like the South Park episode where the Mongolians keep attacking the city wok wall. "Damn you Mongolians!" XD

    Ok, it may not be completely "unrelated"; but Aikar has said to move all Question/Comments about stuff regarding the Wild Update to a different Thread... I don't even know where it is though.

    To re-answer your question, perhaps more thoroughly...

    Even if you would have a Locked chest in a "claimed" area, still only you would be able to open it. If someone has (will) claim an area where you already have 'stuff' at - could be personal chests, a Building, etc. - This could be considered griefing and/or stealing. These will have to be handled individually, because the situation Can be different everytime

    Be sure to re-ask this when the Wild update is closer to release, when all of the features are set in stone.
