i don't care how's implemented, allow for instamine deepslate can be a pickaxe you buy with tokens with efficiency 7 but only mines deepslate or a potion with haste 4,5(not sure whats needed) which also is bought with tokens ideas are welcome from consumables, promos/custom items, token use, or something else to allow for it. discuss!
for the pick which insta mines deepslate: if you can add other enchants: mending/unbreaking I'd say 150k-200k tokens if its a consumable (ie. not infinite 15-25k) If I were the server offering, I would do 15min or 60min chunks, not 5 mins... for 15mins of haste I'd say 10k 30k for 1 hour +-50% depending if you want it to be more accessible or less from a game design stand point... I'd say overall, making life easier to gather stuff, so that more creations can be made with less hassle to gather itemss to build with. However thats a very awful guesstimate since I haven't farmed/hunted for tokens in years... currently have 400k tokens
Currently the only way to instamine deepslate is using a Voter's helmet and be underwater while mining. But a haste potion would be amazing
Wow , I think I sell it 1 for 1 . I only have about 100 chests in stock If you need bulk you will have to DM me
Thank you for this tip. I've had the voter's helmet hanging on the wall for years. I still can't believe I was unaware of it's ability for so long. Blockhead_56 and I have started another chunk clearing project and with your advice it's like clearing sandstone!
Huh, cool that there was a method out there already and not everyone knew about it. To me a non-enchantable pickaxe for tokens would make sense... but I'm not sure if it should be deepslate-specific, couldn't it just have a high efficiency enchantment? Or would that make it too strong for obsidian mining?
If there were a pickaxe that could instamine deep slate; what would you call it? I like the idea of a token sink and would have loved to waste all my tokens when I mined out several chunks all the way to bedrock. What a fun few months that was. I also think it will be a slight bump to the economy.
