  2. Pickles are awesome! I prefer dill with garlic.

Ever since I can remember, my mother made multiple 5 gallon crocks of pickles that were always up against the kitchen wall. The aroma of the fresh from our garden dill on top of the packed in garden fresh cucumbers was just amazing. Just looking at the picture you posted allows me to smell that aroma.

    Mmmmm.

  3. Delicious~ Funny enough, I used to hate pickles when I was a kid, the taste, the texture, everything. When I got older, my tastes changed and I fell in love with them ❤️

I need to get more for my fridge because I'm out. The sandwiches I make for lunch at work are not the same without them. :(
  4. One of my teachers at school today actually had a shirt on that was a 4x3 grid of different brands of pickle jars.

  5. the quarter cut pickles you get from restaurants when you order a sandwich or something is the best---especially when someone in my family gets one and doesn't like them, because that means they are mine >:)
  6. I've loved dill pickles my whole life but 1 sincere question to the people who don't like pickles. Does your mouth water when you smell or think of a pickle... even if you don't like them? Or is that the vinegar doing that or is it just a me thing? lmao idk food for thought?!

  8. Lol, that used to be me, I didn't like them. But I think it was just the bitterness of the vinegar and how pungent it was. My guess is that's why other people don't like it. Well that and perhaps the smell.

  9. As long as there aren't any food coloring or preservatives added to the brine I will drink it once the pickles are gone. I find it thirst quenching after working for a while out in the sun.

  10. When I was growing up, my dad would make pickled lemons for pickled lemonade (he may have some now -- I'll have to visit him). The taste might be acquired, but I think it's very good. I'd like to make some sometime, since it's been over 10 years since I've had any. It's my favorite flavored drink.

I also like regular pickles, pickled okra, pickled carrots, and pickled onions (the last two being added into food).
