I like to make my own by combining a lot of spices, (such as cayenne pepper, curry, and tumeric) together with some mayonnaise. It makes for a really awesome substance that I put on my food.
I have tried ghost pepper hot sauce and I was intrigued on the heat scale factor it produces XD That's some spicy sauce
Tuong Ot Sriracha, Frank's RedHot, Valentina and Bluetop Brand Garlic Hatch are my favorites. (For those who are unfamiliar with Bluetop, https://bluetopbrand.com/products/garlic-hatch)
We eat hot wings at least a couple times a week around here so I gotta vote for Franks Red Hot. https://www.franksredhot.com/
Personally if I'm going for hot sauce I'm not really looking for creaminess or anything so sriracha is my pick. For a salad, if I want a little bit of heat I will put a little bit of ranch and some sriracha. Those seem to balance each other very well, in my opinion
I don't really like hot sauce... If I'm going to put something extra on my food, it's going to be syrup
