My home res is on smp4. When I'm on smp7 to goob around and bother people, I like to run away quickly. That becomes a hassle when I type "/home", and I get informed that, hey, my residence isn't on this smp. Wow, that's good to know! I was worried that it ran off on me. If there were a prompt that popped up and told me "The residence you want to go to is on another smp. Would you like to go there?" with that classic red-green wool option, that'd be fantastic. It would function much like the /pvp function used to. Same applies for typing /v 8543 on say, smp1. Of course the server knows that residence exists, so why do I need to go through the hassle of finding out the smp, and then repeating the command, instead of saying "Yes, I want to go where I asked to go". Of course, there would need to be one check to see if the player's location in the destination smp is somewhere that can use the command. But it would follow the same method that the /pvp command used to.
I like the idea. One idea we lobbed around for a while (not sure what happened to it), Is anytime /v [residence] was used. And it returns a residence on another server. If you are in town on that server. you automatically would get sent to the server and tped to that residence.
