The best thing to do which is really really hard is to find a 4, 5 or 6 stack to rank up with, that is how I got through placements.

Been practicing my Widowmaker skills, and I'd like to say I'm doing quite well right now. Just played my first comp game with her and did great. Now I can finally beat Q as Widow
I feel like there's less salt the higher up you go, as people acknowledge that you got to this rank by doing what you're good at, and if that's widow, they accept it. I'd say my team runs a widow in 1/4 to 1/2 of my games and they usually don't get flamed. In other news, got placed at 3132 after going 6-4 in placements...I'll take it
fair enough, I was thinking of the old community I haven't played in a while and I will probably decay again as in comp is kinda stressful and I don't like playing Overwatch 24/7.

Technically true, as long as you're actually getting the kills. A 6v5 with +40 charge is better than a 6v6 with 0, AFAIK
Until the Mercy starts healing up the Zarya and your team gets wiped cause the junkrat concussion mined you out of Hanamura choke and then you get a nasty grav but the enemy Zen pops trans and your team pushes anyways and the enemy Zarya right clicks everyone out of existence and then the Rein who put his shield up to push the team and the Zarya who explicitly called the grav and received feedback to grav gets blamed for the wipe. Not personal experience or anything, whaaaaat
That's an immediate 80 charge, and in a few seconds that becomes 100. When she's getting a grav every teamfight, there's a problem.
