  2. Congratulations in full! Bucket list items are hard to actually think of. Life is all just matter and in some aspects it can seem pointless, but in my life I would love to hold a diamond. An actual diamond. Just to hold one and see one for what it looks like, it would be fantastic.

  3. Most of my bucket list is composed of traveling the world & exploring new cultural foods. I've been to 13 countries on 3 continents so far, & working on more. Currently at the top of the list for the next I want to visit: Greece. I also want to see the rest of the US States I haven't been to yet.


    Edit:
    If you travel to foreign countries, try to learn at least a few key words & phrases. You'd be surprised at how much more helpful people will be if you at least ATTEMPT their native language.

    Key things are how to be polite (words and cultural greetings such as handshakes or bows, etc) learn please, thank you, excuse me, do you speak English (or your native tongue), where's the bathroom, where's the train station... those are some of the essentials.

    Remember, what is the norm in one country may be rude or offensive in another or the other way around. Do your homework on the culture BEFORE you go. It may help you out in your travels.

    Hmm, as for the top thing on my bucket list, it would have to be - doing something or being a part of something that changes other people's lives for the better. That is my #1 item on my bucket list.

  6. Well, congrats on 4 years with EMC and a very Happy Birthday as well.

    Bucket lists? hmm...

    Not sure if these will be kept or scratched off or actually achieved.

    1) Get a great paying career
    2) Save money ( we shall see on this one)
    3) Get married
    4) Travel
    5) Start a having kids
    6) loads of kids
    7) like a wanna pull my hair out I have so many kids...
    8) Have you seen Cheaper by the Dozen?
    9) Retire, but remember I have a ton of grandchildren to spoil.
    10) Before retire... Invest!!!
    11) Die as the oldest person to have ever lived.
    12) before death hand carve a small viking canoe boat for viking funeral.
    13) There is no more bucket list items as I'm dead now.

  7. I love the sound of this! Could you possibly make one for me?? Chances are quite good I'll be dead long before you... and if all goes well it could also take care of #1 on your list as well...

    Heck... make yours early enough and it could help you with your item 4 ....

    Not so certain about 3.... unless you used some viking tactics...

  8. First gratz on reaching your 5th year and happy birthday!

    As one of the few who are even close to needing to worry about a bucket list... I have been through enough that things I once thought were bucket list are off or maybe done and new things always seem to move in. Now that my own kids are grown (and nearing finishing college) most of my things would be related to travels... So I'd love to see Australia and visit the great barrier reef, see London, see Paris and visit China.

  9. Thank you, I appreciate that :D But it's an 'on-going' bucket list item, not one that gets checked off ;) Probably could change the wording a bit to reflect that.

  12. You see my bucket list is simple:

    The easier ones are things like
    -Visit every US state
    -Go to San Diego Comic Con (oh wait I'm already doing that this year)
    -Meet a US president
    -Get through school

    But the hard one, which if I believe in it it's possible
    -HAVE EVERYONE IN THE UNIVERSE AWAKEN FROM THE DARKNESS THEY HAVE BEEN BLINDED BY AND REALIZE THE TRUE POWER I POSSESS. ALL WILL ONE DAY SEE ME AS WHO I AM, THE BUILDER OF PLANETS, THE CREATOR OF LIFE, THE SCULPTURE OF FREE THOUGHT, THE ENGINEER OF DEATH, THE IMMORTAL BEING WHO HAS LIVED ETERNITIES, FOR I AM THE OVERLORD AND ALL WILL BOW BEFORE ME.

    See, I mean yeah the last on is slightly hard, actually since it references me directly and no one else then for you it would be impossible, but I believe that someday I will achieve it!

    Also congrats on 4 years!

    • Travel the UK
    • Meet a friend(s) from EMC irl
    • Get married and have the most epicestest of weddings ever.
    • Go back to university
    • Own a house
    • Actually finish reading all the books/comics I've started reading
    • Actually finish playing all the games I've started playing
    • Be fluent in at least 3 languages
    • Road trip from the east coast of the US to the west coast and back
    • learn how to drive so I can do that ^
    this list could go on forever but ain't nobody got time for that :p
    and yay almost 5 years! and almost happy birthday :D
