  1. Ah, yes I am back at the throttle again with the suggestions. I'll make sure I point out the "Fixes" within it as well. I was holding my tongue since of other complications. It will be structured in four parts including this forum post.

  2. Re-Evaluation of Mods
Now, if you know me well enough I have been with multiple tussles with the staff here in many particular ways. One of which being with mods. Block placers in my opinion are the most functional mod out there, not because of it's functionality, but helps with my OCD 10-fold. I find it awfully peculiar that you can have auto-clickers where you can set different speeds to click faster than a true human; Compared to a mod that places blocks that either you bought, received, or got yourself.

Either re-Evaluate the mod situation or clear up the confusion of who and how mods are evaluated. With this comparison, it is basically saying, "Oh yeah, you can have a auto-click as fast as you want not being afk, but god forbid when that mod can place blocks" Of course, Radar, tracers, x-ray, fly and full bright are mods without a doubt don't need a revaluation.

  3. A precedent Form against Staff
This is just a clear up and a true form against staff actions or behaviors. Really helps Krysyy pinpoint what is wrong. It limits the confusion of who to go to when you think a staff is abusing powers/actions or behavior concerns

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Form should look something similar like this.

    Your username:

    Staff member(s) name(s):

What particular action do you think was unjust:

    Proof (If any)
    .PNG,.IMG,.JPEG drop folder

    Any other concerns:

  4. ANTI-Grief Update Needed TLC
I went on a rant in a pm to a certain individual, I wont list his name but I told major issues with the ANTI-Grief update. I express issues with him and how fundamentals of the anti-grief is ridiculous.

These are the ideas which I am TRYING to fix it, you can all add your points in it as well

    1. Build Function only toggled on and off by player. You as a player is
Current system: Build mode is shut off when you leave frontier or logout.

    2. Permanent Vouches: Set a certain individual to be your voucher permanently, list of permanent vouches can be looked over and edited via "/vouch list". To add permanent vouches "/vouch perm (Playername)" Only temporary vouches can be made via "/vouch temp (Playername)" for the 30 minute time
Current system: /Vouch (Playername) with a 30 minute time

    3. Bringing back the "Locked" signs for specialty items and removing Anti-grief plugin from the wastelands. When I hear the Wastelands, I think of the apocalyptic areas which Mad Max is in. YOU are liable for damages and other items that you bring out there. Wasteland isn't for building and it should stay that way. If you want to build, there is a massive world of what we call "The Frontier"

There are questions needed to be answered before I add more to my suggestions. For example, How is the anti-grief going to connect to Empires? Will all the players, including the non-playing players need to vouch to build a empire? What will be the policy? That can come in a new time.

  5. Announcements
I don't know about you, but the announcements can be a little tedious repeating information that was made about a year ago. Why not put it in a nice list?

Uses /announcement lists out all the current news.
Removes chat spam caused by the announcements

I also want to add a Alert ping for unclaimed /promo items and unread /announcement news so you know your up to date. This can be on a timer to ping you every half hour for any unclaimed promo or announcement not read.

  6. The staff have received multiple complaints from players that some people (expecially on utopia) are utilizing autoclickers and afk-circumvention macros when they are nowhere near their computers to farm for items/experience. Farming utilizing an auto-clicker is ONLY allowed if the autoclicker does not exceed normal clicking/play ability AND you are present behind the computer (or very close by). Basically it's a way to save your poor hands from cramps etc while furiously clicking.

  7. I can't comment on mods because I only sporadically use them, and even then I don't use (nor like) inventory tweaks. Basically I couldn't care less, I'd rather see EMC ban all 'click and create' mods. I know it sounds harsh, and it's just an opinion which I sometimes ventilate, but yah. That's how I feel about those :)

As to the staff protest form... I dunno. I'm not sure what the added value of that is. I mean, we all know Krysyy is the community manager and if you have a beef with staff then she's the de-facto person to contact. I don't see how that could be confusing.

In fact, I think using the forums is a much better (and more transparent) approach than a Google form. For the simple fact that you can always look up your thread to see how long ago you posted it. Optionally you can even bump it. It wouldn't be the first time where staff (as a whole) were very busy and feared that they might have missed a few posts. In which case a quick bump from the users was quite useful for them.

Obviously that won't be possible with a form.

    Just my 2 cents.

  8. I have a suggestion too. How about we have someone that can actually FOLLOW simple rules be the one to suggest changes?

The staff would be much more willing to listen to those who have the respect to follow the rules as they are currently in place. And those players are the ones that any changes will actually affect in the future. Banned players are already not eligible in votes, when applicable anyway.

As such, this thread is closed and the precedent is set for a rule change to disallow suggestions from banned players.
