I love Batman, I just got done reading the Court of Owls storyline and it was awesome. I'm also reading Batman, Incorporated and I'm going to pretend it never happened...
The Batman movies in the 80's and 90's sucked so much and I'm not even going to get started on Adam West.
I honestly think that Batman Begins was one of the best in the series. The Dark Knight... I don't know, it's just too dark for me.
Wow. Thanks. I HATE superman movies. What I'm saying is that the whole idea of the Dark Knight (Joker goes nuts and kills people, challenges Batman's moral code) is a little... It just seems so different, and when I watched it a few years ago, I didn't get it at all. Now that I understand such things, it makes much more sense. Maybe I will appreciate it more thoroughly if I were to watch it again....
You seem like more of a silver age comics guy(you know Adam West and stuff) Batman nowadays is about dark issues(In a recent issue of Batman and Robin, Batman's 10 year old son murders a guy). Also the Joker has been killing people for years in the comics. RIP Heath Ledger.
hmm i choose Batman over Superman, and i want a Justice League movie but that won't happen cause Marvel fans will say "Their only making it cause Avengers came out" lol on the low i like DC or Marvel
Mmmm. I hate Adam West as well. I realize that it's about dark stuff. I do pay attention to popular culture, however repulsing it can get (Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black). Plus, it's a great movie, all I'm saying is this: The whole plotline of Batman Begins really built up, through lots of little things, to the one big thing (I don't want to spoil it). This, however, could be a spoiler. The Dark Knight is lots of little things, leading up to.... Well nothing, really. Plus, there's way too much questioning of his character in my opinion. He's fighting against crime! Sure, some crazy guy in a purple suit and cheap makeup shows up and threatens to kill people if he doesn't take off the mask, but that really doesn't warrant him being hunted down and paraded as a vigilante fleeing law enforcement.... He's not SO dark as to completely destroy the values he's trying to uphold, is he? I mean, you fight crime. Innocent people are going to die pretending to be you. People imitate police officers all the time, and some of them get dead....
I would be going to the midnight showing but I got meeself a date D: So I'm seeing it a few hours later xD
