Little owls in the garden!

  1. Hello EMC!
    I am happy to say that I am lucky enough to have a female little owl living in my garden! But that's not the best part: it has two babies! I feel privileged to have these amazing birds in my garden as their population has declined by 24% between 1995 and 2008 in the UK. I have had tawny and barn owls living in my garden before, but the barn owl doesn't return (I'm not saying it's dead) and tawny owls aren't permanent residents. I named the mother Athena and her babies Charlie and Beatrice. I just really hope the magpies leave the babies alone...:eek:

  2. ONG baby owls :D I bet they look adorable! Can you post a pic of the maybe? You're so lucky :p the only animal I've found living close to me are birds and hornets :eek:
