  1. 14 more days till E3 2015!
I can't wait to see what games they are going to reveal :)
What games are you most hoping for?

I got my fingers crossed that Valve will learn how to count to three..

  3. There's a good list of games already on their site. Hopefully I can watch it on a twitch stream or something when it is on... :p
  4. I am super excited for E3! I'll try to watch the Nintendo livestream at any time I'm at home :p Hm, perhaps I need to find a place I can put my iPad while showering, so I can keep watching... ;)
I know it probably won't happen, but WarioWare or Wario Land would be awesome. Also, more on Mario Maker, probably, and Yoshi's Woolly World, perhaps. Oh, and let's not forget: the new Zelda! I'm almost positive they'll talk about that and show teasers, and I think it's going to be incredible.
  5. Tommorow!

    EDIT: 6 months* :p

    Did they make another?
  9. Well, I think starting last Saturday it "started" but it doesn't officially start to tomorrow I believe?
  10. I think the whole "big releases" and "live stream" sort thing is tomorrow so this is probably correct :D

  16. I'm definitely going to stay up later than I should in a testweek to watch a bit of the Nintendo part!
  17. I just saw some of Nintendo's E3 trailers. One that particularly catched me was a new Metroid game.
Seeing "Metroid Prime" in part of this game's title set high expectations for me and probably other Metroid fans. Unfortunately, Metroid Prime: Federation Force for the 3DS was disappointing for us to see after five years. However, I later found out that this is actually a spin-off to the Metroid franchise and is being developed by Next Level Games, NOT Retro Studios.
Retro Studios has been known to make high quality Nintendo home console games, primarily the Metroid series. After releasing Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Wii, then decided to take a break and then made Donkey Kong Country Returns; they later teamed up with Monster Games to make Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze.
After the release of Tropical Freeze, Retro Studios had announced that they're working on a new game. Many people, including myself, believe they're developing a new Metroid game for the Wii U. There's evidence of this possibility: Shigeru Miyamoto once said in an interview he would like to return to both the 2-D and 3-D Metroid games at some point, President Reggie discussed about the franchise's potential on the Wii U, and Metroid's 30th anniversary occurs next year in 2016.
Honestly, what was shown from Next Levels Games isn't a major step for the Metroid franchise; they're not the kind of game developer who does immerse projects, like Retro Studios. They were probably just trying to branch out the Metroid series with different ideas.
