  1. Nope. It took place during the Cold War.

In the midst of World War I, the German research organization known as Group 935 are tasked with creating powerful new weaponry to ensure victory for the Central Powers.

During September of 1917 Dr. Maxis and his partner Dr. Edward Richtofen lead an archaeological excavation into the trenches of northern France after Dr. Maxis promises Group 935's leaders that this is the location of an unknown and enigmatic new element. The excavation not only discovers this new element but also uncovers a mysterious and ancient ruin beneath the battlefield. Dr. Maxis classifies the new element as number 115 on the periodic table of elements. The group plan to use Element 115 as a power source for new weaponry in the Wonder Weapon program. At the excavation site, Group 935 installs a series of conversion generators that utilize element 115 to create localized energy fields. To their surprise the energy fields act like portals and begin to materialize advanced machinery of indeterminate origin, leading Maxis to surmise that the conversion of element 115 is somehow capable of creating a crease or tear in space and time....

    Rest of story read here.

The story actually goes on in on through time so even though the 40s seem like the normal time period it is not.

  2. This is a little screenshot from the zombies bit of the trailer, it appears that zombie isn't wearing exo and looks Nazi...

Here is a picture of a BO1 zombie:

Another bit from the zombies part in the trailer:

    Similiar?
Also, here is one the main zombie in the one bit before his hat drops off

Here is a real life Nazi hat:

    Is there hope?

  3. Isaac Asimov's "Three Laws of Robotics"

    1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
    2. A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
    3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
I wanted to mention this, because all around these are the accepted rules of robotics. Why were these laws broken in the future, all scientists accept these rules all around.
  4. CoD 4 and WaW were hands down the best CoD games ever made. If you think that anything newer is better, then you are passed CoD's time and wrong lol.

  5. I most likely won't be buying it because of the 'Futuristic aspect'. I hope it turns out better the AW, though it doesn't look too promising :l Treyarch hasn't let many of us down, In Treyarch we trust.

    Very nice I Robot quote
  6. I, Robot WAS written by Isaac Asimov. :)

  7. Warning: May contain very mild violence/gore blah blah blah :p

This was a very emotional video, for me..

  8. I started playing COD when World at War came out, and I loved it! I love how COD gives you the experience in wars and all that. But now COD is turning into garbage with all the futuristic crap. I mean Advanced Warfare wasn't all that bad besides the exo suits, but they are going wayyyy into the future with robotic soldiers and weapon prosthetics. (Exo suits are real just not being used in the military yet! :p) I just loved the old games, especially Infinity Ward.
My list for favorite to least (For Multiplayer and Campaign) would be (At least starting from WaW):
    1. Modern Warfare 2
    2. Modern Warfare 3
    3. World at War
    4. Advanced Warfare
    5. Ghosts (It wasn't that bad!)
    6. Black Ops 2
    7. Black Ops
    8. Modern Warfare (COD 4)
Yes Black Ops (1 & 2) are pretty far down my list, but Zombies is amazing!
  9. Practically every COD I see? :p
  10. Well I never really got into COD 1-3 so it isn't all of them :p
  11. I mean, all of them after WaW, like you said :p
