Interesting thoughts... My couple comments regarding this...

Diamond supporter vouchers can be found from other players in the 500k-800k range. (at least during my time here this is the range I have seen them typically sell for in game... economics do change, so do not assume these amounts are set in stone)

If EMC decided to allow people to buy one additional plot for 5 million rupees (up to four plots), nobody would do this as it is far more cost effective to find a player willing to sell a diamond supporter voucher.

For every diamond supporter voucher you have seen, someone has financially supported EMC.
Remember that EMC has operating costs/expenses, and its because of supporters that EMC exists and can continue to operate.

You can't buy a max res voucher with RL money anymore. It was removed. You can still find some in game for 1 million as well as one sold today on reverse auction for that much. I've not heard of them going for less currently.

Perm Derelict can be purchased for $100 RL money and no shops sell it anywhere ingame. People still sometimes sell them for 800-1.2 mil if you can find someone. At Xmas they were $50 RL, so 400-600kr was a more normal price back then.

Can someone post the link about the rumor of Max Res vouchers for Voters? Since they've been phasing them out of the game, It seems unlikely they will add them back for voters until we get the town plot improvements in a couple years.

The Max Res Vouchers (or similar) have been a planned addition to the vote bonuses. The exact details have not been worked out/released but some details can be found on the forum with a quick search. Also, the fact that this is a planned feature can be seen in the server's MOTD (Does anyone actually read the MOTD?):

My guess as to why they are no longer available for purchase on the website is that they will only be available in the vote streak rewards.

This is my thoughts:
Until the Town Improvements are released, having any more Max res vouchers in circulation is dangerous. The Town Improvements sound like they'll give a us generated plots instead of the finite number we have now. So yes, once the Town Improvements are released, it makes sense that voters will get new reses.

From the road maps and other updates it sounds like next is 1.8 (and all the challenges that will go with it), then Games Server, then Dragon Tombs. Those alone will take a lot of time. After that, hopefully we'll get Empires v1 which isn't even really fleshed out yet. Maaaaaaaaaaybe after that we'll get Town Improvements.

It won't be any time soon. Guessing over a year. Our population growth might force us to add more plots sooner, but I'm guessing they'd be the current type and they really shouldn't add in the max reses at that time (unless there is a ton of complaining).
