Ok, one time I jumped off a cliff to get my head. Went to the spot, no head. But that was a long time ago. Just now, I thought of a solution, an EMC head residence! This place could be where players get their heads. This would be for players getting their own heads. Or two players that reached an agreement where one person would let them kill them in the farm so the other player could get their head for their collection. Or you could sell your head. It would be in Town so players could easily get there by teleporting and it would be ungriefable. I hope it'd be handy to some players. Let me know what you think in the poll above.
I believe what you're describing is pretty much PvP, you'd just need another person. Besides, it's easy to just jump off a cliff a bunch. EDIT: I do not believe that this is the worst idea, just a -1 from me. I don't see the use in it and that means a -1 here. (Just so I don't appear an idiot.)
It would be the same as Town, but there wouldn't be any PvP, but you could still die from cliffs placed on there.
You can gain heads in PVP arenas with a friend You can make a head farm using dirt, a bed, and some hoppers (Hoppers are optional)
I see what you're saying with not being able to get your own head all by yourself, but all you need to do for that is do /ps and turn head drop on, then kill yourself in /waste or /pvp. That should fix it (Note that player settings are server-specific, so if you set head drop on on one server then change you'll need to change it there as well or set it on for all servers)
