  1. Hi, it's me again!

Disclaimer: this starting paragraph is mostly nonsense, scroll down for the actually useful information.

Hm, is the title all right?
Well, I think it should be okay.
It got to sound at least a little bit appealing, I suppose, but this is good, I think.
So, I was thinking. I do that a lot, thinking. About all sorts of things. Sometimes I think I even think a bit too much.
Wait, that was not the subject I was supposed to introduce.
    Ah, yeah.
So, I was thinking. "Hm, lately I haven't been doing much of my own on EMC. Mostly just commenting on threads of other people. I feel like creating a new thread, with a bit more depth than posting a picture of snow. What should it be about? Probably no service, because there's nothing I'm good at."
So that's how I was thinking, for a while.
    Until I invented something.
    A game making service!
Hm, that could actually be cool.
I enjoy programming, music composing and the like, and other people might enjoy playing a game they requested themselves.
So that's what I'm doing here.

    Information
I'll be creating games in GameMaker 8.1 Lite. Because I couldn't get Studio to work.
If you want me to create a game for you, you can request it, preferably here in this thread, but you can also pm me.
I'll be creating simple games, not too complicated. I can't make an entire rpg for you, such things take years with an one-man team.
They will have a watermark, but it won't be hindering. If you really hate watermarks, we might be able to work something out, but I don't think you should mind, as it really doesn't hinder much.
You can tell me what genre you want, what type of music, the story, et cetera. Just say something, and I'll see if I can do it. If it's too difficult, I'll just tell you and you can choose to either change your wishes a bit or just step back out of the service altogether.
I won't do things I really don't like. I won't agree if you tell me to make a bloody shooter, no matter how much money you'll pay me.
Speaking of money, you'll only pay me when the game is done, and you have a big influence in determining the price.
It won't be too cheap though, because making a game costs hours upon hours.
But you're the one who says how much money (as in, in-game rupees) you want to pay. I'll keep track of how many hours I've spent on it.
You can't set me a deadline. I'll work on your game when I have time to spend on it. You don't have to pay in advance though, and when your game is done, it's no problem if a week or two pass before the payment is delivered.
The game is my work. You can play it, record videos of it to YouTube, and do whatever you want with it, as long as you don't claim anything, from the entire game to the music and graphics as your own.
I won't give you the source, unless I know you really well.
I can only take one, two or three requests at once, variety is good, but I won't be able to keep things clear if I'm working on ten different games.
I'll keep you updated on the progress.
I'm not expecting this to happen, but if anything goes array and for some reason I won't be able to finish the game, it's just plain unfortunate. I won't pay you anything to compensate, you won't pay me anything to compensate. Let's just hope that doesn't happen.
I think this is all I need to mention for now. If you have any questions or anything, please post them in this thread.

Status: Open for requests, as of 11 AM EMC time, 17-1-1959

Not open for requests, as it is apparently illegal.

    Things I can't do:
    3d games (like Minecraft)
    Online Multi-Player (like Minecraft)
Anything occult or bloody (like Five Nights at Freddy's or Binding of Isaac)
    Mobile or web-based games

    Projects I'm currently working on:
    None yet.

So, there we go... Let's click "Create Thread" and... see what'll happen.

  2. In terms of money, do you mean USD or rupees?
  3. Rupees, haha ;)
I believe you aren't even allowed to make threads about services charging real money here!
I edited the OP to be a little more clear though, thank you for the mention!
  4. Hmm...sounds cool, might do one.

  5. Well, what kind of game would you want, you think? Examples of games I made are platformers, mazes, bird-view (you know, from the top) dodge games of getting to the finish, et cetera. You can of course also specify kinds of characters, level design, story, extras and other things. You can either give me much room for improvisation or specify a lot of what you want.
  6. Do you make mobile games (android) or just PC games? Also, I will definitely get one once I have extra rupees to spend.
  7. PC, no web, only .exe's.
  8. Wait you can or cannot do apps for a phone
  9. I can not, sorry. It's just not possible in the free version of the software I'm currently using :(
  10. DANG! I really wanted a new mobile game to play when I'm board...
  11. Can you make a new browser for my PC :p
  12. Aw, I feel bad for not stating that in the OP now :c
    I hope you understand though.

  13. No xD That's not a game

  14. Heh just asking um so what are the games played on?
  15. I can make executables. I'm positive they can be played on Windows because that's where I play them on, but I think they're also compatible with OSX and Linux.
  16. what about integrating pong into chrome? xD

  17. I feel like I'm incredibly limited now xD (Which I probably am) but no, since I can only do .exe's... I can't get Chrome plugins to work. I feel like I need to stop playing games and composing music now, and instead get onto learning new programming languages
  18. yeah, im trying to learn java atm and i have also used construct 2 witch is a free html5 game making device
  19. Well let say I let you make a game for me.
Is it going to cost 10 - 50k, or is it going to be 100 - 200K
  20. It depends on how much time I spend on it. If it's a fairly simple platformer or maze-y game which doesn't require too complex mechanics, 10-50k is definitely enough. If you want to go more towards the rpg side, however, or want a platformer with bosses that require custom AI, it may be a bit more, up to 100k. I don't think I would quickly let you give me 200k, that's quite much.

Also, another disclaimer to everyone: I'm relatively poor at graphic design, but if you want to ensure you'll be getting good graphics (I personally don't care much about graphics, but you may do), I can try to get someone else to do the graphics for me.
