Allow yourself to do, nothing - there are ALWAYS someone ready to talk to you about general stuff Start a wild adventure - pick an SMP you do not play too much on (no mobareana and such) and just walk out, and do whatever your heart desires... Start a mall - This is what I did when the empire was getting me bored, I understand that it is a huge time consumer, but just start by selling 10 materials, and slowly expand as when it feels comfortable for you. Be a part of the EMC TEXP Race on the leaderboard Be a good guy, get members on EMC, make people stay after finishing the tutorial (I do that when I got nothing else to do) talk to them, play with the, learn them the ~EMC WAY~ Take a break - If the empire really is getting to lazy and boring for you (HOW CAN THAT HAPPEN) take a break... Decide not to open your Minecraft for let us say, 3 weeks. Do not even vote, I can keep your streak running if you like this option. Taking a break is sometimes necessary to find out how great a place is... Empty Todd Vinton for rupees, this one is quite hard, but try... Sell him all your stuff, and keep selling selling selling xD Apply for the contribution team - They always need new writers, idea creators - you name it. You could apply to contribute with whatever skill you might have.
The only thing I can understand in the OP is that you don't like custom mobs. I have died several times from a custom mob when I was just doing normal stuff in the /wild and /waste (and on diff 1) so I'd just suggest not going outside of town or at least not without OP armor and/or friends. I wish being on diff 1 stopped custom mobs from attacking you all together.
the only thing on EMC that I consider to be OP is the new unbreakable tools you get from voting... I personally like them because now I can go out mining/collecting with just those tools and never have to fear of losing them or needing anything else. so those tools combined with the huge amount of diamonds you get from voting, I haven't had a need to actually mine for diamonds in months. so unless you have a store and want to stock them, the perks you get from voting are a little OP but I consider that part of the "play your way" theme as if I'm playing the way I want to play I don't want to have to go out mining for diamonds because it's time consuming and hard.
I did take a break (over 4 months?) and I've now returned to do few new projects. I'm very pleased how EMC develops and matures. Guess what, EMC is now mature enough to handle "good bye" threads! That's good! Custom mobs and "play your way", groups, that adds new challenges. That's good. Many new players. Very good - hope the best will stay. New fair play rules coming. This is really a great thing. Thanks Mojang! What is not good: - OP items that mobs drop, like power 4 unbreaking 3 bow. - Getting items and/or high amounts of rupees for voting. IMO, if voting takes 1 min time, one should get like 100r. - One day old players with 100k+ rupees in their pockets. That's is weird and strange. To get stuff worth 100k you need around 20 hours of mining, farming and fighting. 20 hours for less than $10? That's against humanity - I hope it will end soon. All together, EMC is getting better and better and is more than ever worth support!
You can play EMC anyway you please, you can live in the wild and have nothing to do with the Shops, Promos, and avoid enraged mobs.

That is an outdated rule. Goodbye threads are now allowed if they do not bring up drama or anything like that.

Aren't goodbye threads that cause community drama not allowed? Not sure if this comes under "Community Drama" but anyway still sad to see you go!
