What does it take to found Empire Minecraft? I take it you have a business idea that aims to do profit, you found software company, hire or invite people with different skills, coders, one is the CEO, one does PR, one does pixel art etc., get funds for the server, hold a meeting to decide what kind of Minecraft would it be, and then write the code, found a website, get free members and get some of us pay for the subscription?
Don't forget retaining lawyers and contracting chartered accountants. Also, no business would be complete without a state-of-the-art office complex somewhere in southern California.
I trust that you've got everything under control with this stuff Justin, but I'm curious... what happens if someone is in a location that is occupied by a solid block in the new world, like if they end up underground?
The game will move you up until it finds a safe spot. Same if you were high in the air it would move you down to the surface. This is normal Vanilla MC behavior that I have personally tested to make sure it is how it works However with that being said we have never done this before in the Empire, so I am ready for any lessons If anyone has a problem just be patient I will get it straightened out.

Do you have a state-of-the-art office in Cali? =) Can you tell us about your company. Is it just a Minecraft server, founded by a group of guys with an economics and/or IT degree, or are you like a bigger gaming service?
It's just a good job that I retrieved all my stuff from the wilderness before I so stupidly updated. If the update brings the new worlds with it I wouldn't have had the chance to save my stuff.
