Ok, I thought I had posted a reply. Anyway. Which link won't open? The link to the website? I don't understand exactly why it wouldn't work... it's just like every other link here and the website is up and functional, as far as I can tell. Let me know.

Also, while I agree that it might help stabilize some prices, I still feel that part of the "fun" of running a shop is doing the work to research prices on your own, via visiting the other shops. I also enjoy how each server seems to have its own economy largely separate from the economy of each other server. In the future I may consider adding prices, but in the meantime it's still not on my list of things to do at the moment.

I'm still not sure what would cause this issue unless there actually was data that was missing from the form. I'm planning to add some realtime verification to the form so you're sure you have all the fields filled in when you submit to create the shop or edit it, instead of getting the obscure "Data Missing!" error.

Since more people have found out about this, I've finally got just about enough votes to decide what mobs to use for server icons. I'll be ending the voting Sunday, March 31st, at Noon, CDT (That's 5pm/17:00 GMT). By the end of that day I should have them ready and added to the site for use in quickly browsing through shops on individual servers.

Also, I think I've got ALL the possible potion types added finally. If I still don't, I'm throwing the brewing stand out the window!

It might be good to add a column of buying/selling restrictions.

Some stores can get upset if you buy/sell too much, or have restrictions on what you can do with the products once you've bought them.

As a shop owner, one way that you can prevent people from selling too much is to fill up the chest with dirt blocks. That way, if someone tries to sell, it will say "chest is full".

For any of you that were having troubles logging in to edit your shop via the login form, I've fixed that problem.

Apparently, the mysql_query function does NOT reliably return boolean FALSE when a SELECT statement returns an empty set, even though it's supposed to. Once I figured that out, a workaround was simple and it should work as described. Sorry for that, folks.

Is it possible to make a "forget password" link ? Because i wrote my password wrong, when i created my shop in the database. Now i don't know how to get access.

If you saved your quick-edit link, you could use that to log in to your shop and change your password from there. If you didn't, PM me your res number and I'll reset the password for you. I'll add a way to reset your password this weekend while I'm off work.

There should be an out of stock button just in case of the event which you have those items but they are just out of stock.

Maybe adding an "Out of Stock" supply level wouldn't be such a bad idea.

I've tried to update my shop on my iPad and my Mac, and I get the "Data is missing. Press the back button to edit again!" error. Can you help me, raenis? Thanks!

EDIT: Also, how do you get the "I'm listed!" achievement? I'd like to put it in my sig.

Just remember to change where it says YOURSHOPID to the id shown in the URL while viewing your shop.

Finally got the chance to go through the votes for the mob icons! The final choices are tabulated, and are as follows:

SMP 1 - Creeper
SMP 2 - Slime
SMP 3 - Blaze
SMP 4 - Zombie Pigman
SMP 5 - Cave Spider
SMP 6 - Enderman
SMP 7 - Zombie
Utopia - Ghast
SMP 8 - Magma Cube
SMP 9 - Skeleton

SMP 8 and 9 weren't voted for, since they were so new. Sorry guys and gals, but you kinda got the leftovers from the others. They still aren't bad choices!

I'll be putting together the images for the sidebar sometime in the next few days. Hopefully there won't be any major interruptions. IF someone feels like they would like to contribute something to the database and would like to create the mob icons for me, I'd definitely consider it. Just throw me a private message and we'll discuss what I'm going for and go from there.

On a side note, I updated the server lists to include SMPs 8 and 9, and also added a customized achievement that you can use in your sig, that will be shown (with needed BBCode) when you create a new shop as well as whenever you edit your existing shop. It's a copy of my "I'm listed!" achievement, but including your res number, and if you use the BBCode I provide you with, it will automatically be linked to your shop listing page. Woot sauce.

Oh, that makes sense. Don't feel pressured-we've all been getting along fine without the mobs. I was just being curious as usual.
