Even with lava inside your farm, chicken jockey'swill spawn outside your farm, and the chickens that do not die in lava will not despawn. So only time will tell. Chickens will rule the nether!
This is also happening in the Wild, non-nether. Going to have to figure out how to deal with the overabundance of chickens now I guess.
Well chickens normally spawn in the over world? But chicken jockeys also spawn in the over world with baby zombies instead of pigmen.
Yes, but when the chickens themselves just spawn you can kill them and they will never come back. With the chicken jockeys they will though.
