Umm Can't connect to any server or sp world... mc just crashes!

  2. Do you use magic launcher?
    Have you deleted (please backup :p) your .minecraft?

  4. Open the game with the with Minecraft.exe. Try not using Magic Launcher.

  7. Try deleting your .minecraft (first backup it) and maybe then it works.

    Does your game load? Or does it stay at the launcher?

  8. I have already done that 5 times... And I go to multiplayer it says logging in... then bam it sends me back to the launcher.

  11. Well, this seems like something that should be fixable. It looks like your java is right.

    Can you test anything else that runs java to make sure, but I don't think it's the issue.

    I would also check on your file/folder permissions. I don't know exactly, but if minecraft can't write files in it's own folders, that would mess stuff up.

    I'll think about it, but a couple of lucky google searches should give you some direction. Something like 'windows 8 minecraft won't start'

  12. I'd recommend doing only 3 things*

    1) Update your java (and make sure to delete your old java versions) (not SDKs - just versions)

    2) Magic launcher 1.2.5 causes random crashes and login exceptions - it's a magic launcher issue - not a Minecraft issue - so try using the normal launcher.

    3) Lastly, you might need to allocate more ram to your launcher or not run as many programs ... depending on your settings - Minecraft can be resource heavy - and needs an adequate amount of ram to run.

  13. I'm confused as to whether you are using Minecraft Launcher or Magic Launcher. What happens when Minecraft Launcher is used? If it is Magic Launcher you are using, I had a problem that reminds me of this one at one point. They had updated the launcher and I left my shortcut pointing to the old one.

    Make sure you are using the correct version of Magic Launcher and that you are either starting it directly or your shortcut is pointing to it and not an old version.

    The hits I've gotten from Googling the error in your log point to your driver. They all either suggest updating your driver, which you say you have tried, or down revving it by loading a Windows 7 driver. If you feel up to trying it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HirtgQQYDpc

    Something I find odd is that you say that it worked ok yesterday and that you have not changed anything.

  14. Are all the other programs working fine? Does your laptop make as much noise as it did last week?

  18. I was gonna suggest making sure your Windows Updates were installed. I kept crashing out of everything the other day and it kept telling me it was due to the software on my host machine. Turns out I had updates and for some reason they put them as Optional so it didn't pop up I had updates.

    Glad you got it running though :)

    Haro: Fixed. Simple system restore :p
