The Room blows up. You see yourself flying, in slowmotion, and then.... WASTED. (I've been watching too much GTAV...) You wake up on the street, outside a hospital.
I stood and stared for a moment, gathering what just happened. It was then that the shock of the whole moment hit me in the face. My companions had just killed 2 Pyre Giants, two big, fire breathing giants. And I just stood and watched. How am I helpful to this group? I didn't let the thought bother me as I tried to think of how to save Rend and 3L. Well one was under a giant, and the other was in the volcano as far as I was aware. I figured that 3L would have a chance in the volcano, he knows what he's doing... After remembering him fight, I was even more sure of my choice, but I sent Venom up to look around the volcano anyway. I ran over to the giant I last saw Rend with and tried to lift up it's lifeless body. "Stupid giant!" I moaned as I desperately tired to lift its head "Why won't you budge?!" I shouted to the dead giant angrily. I used all my energy trying to move the body and I was almost completely out of breath now. I knew Rend was strong, but I didn't know if he could make this "Rend! Don't you dare give up on me now!" I shouted in his general direction under the giant. "Spectrum! Here boy!" I whistled. He came almost immediately, wagging his tail waiting for a command. I pointed to the other side of the giant "Grab it's body and help me pull it, boy" I told him as he ran over to help. We tried for a few seconds before i figured that the giant really wasn't moving. "Why wont you MOVE?!" I shouted as I gave it one last push and it flipped over as my hair glowed even more then usual. I looked at the giant, then to my hands "Wha.." I wasn't sure what just happened but the important thing is that the giant isn't a problem anymore. I ran over to Rend's unmoving body and shook him "Rend buddy, get up!" I told him, still shaking him. He coughed as air flowed back into him. I gave him a firm hug as I welcomed him back but it didn't last for long as I remembered 3L in the volcano. Venom flew down as he gave me several shakes of his head and ruffles of his wings that only I understood. He couldn't see 3L but he did sense a life force in the lava. I started to climb to the top of the volcano to see if 3L was anywhere to be seen.
"We need to get out of here fast. If someone comes in a realizes you're untied, they'll have a big fit. We should also bring the rope, it'll probably be useful, and if it's not here they might not realize we've gone." Is there a door or sunlight coming in from anywhere?
As Mira started to climb I grabbed her, and told her that there was no way he survived that, "Even Pyre Giants don't go in there it's too hot..." She didn't say anything, she just looked worried... I ignored her and immediately inspected my arm, I saw some strange marking that looked a bit like the scars shadow walkers had on their face and chests... I didn't tell Mira, and quickly covered it up, "We should head out, we stick around much longer some more giants might show up..."
I looked back at the volcano, wondering if 3L could have somehow survived. He was a strong man but Rend was right, not even the giants go in there. He started to walk with Spectrum close behind "You coming Mira?" he asked me, stopping for a moment. I hesitated before saying "Yeah... I'm coming" we started to walk back the way we came
After watching these few hours of Mira and 3L, I couldn't help but think that she's no longer on my side, however I will have to continue, to see... Just as we were about to move out, we could hear some bubbling from the volcano it got louder and louder then suddenly the volcano overflowed I yelled at Mira to run and find a high rock, not a lot overflowed but not a lot is need to burn our legs off. Just then a being emerged from the pool that was forming at the foot of the mountain. I aimed my rifle and I fired, thinking it was a Magma Sprite, but the bullet melt due to heat before it even reached it. Then the lava cleared and cooled off, the figure was 3L! I once again aimed my rifle and shouted, "What are you?!" He only replied with a simple look... and started walking forward towards Mira... I fired 1 shot, 2 shots, 3 shots but he didn't even budge... I pulled out my blade and charged at him, my arm started glowing again, Mira shouted my name but I ignored her, I swiped at 3L and he dodged it and pulled his own blade, it was a weird design it looked like it was a rifle with a blade melded into it... the name on the handle said Projectile Cutter, he swiped at me and I quickly parried with my sword and jabbed at him, he moved to the side and fired his gun-blade , I managed to block it but just barely, I managed to get a good grip hold on his blade with mine, and I flicked the gun-blade off to the side. "Who or what are you?!" I demanded pointing my sword at him, he didn't say anything...
Um yeah I don't understand why my magical aura didn't work Anyways I spend some days at home, reading some magic books. I want another quest-Hopefully this time I won't be trapped inside something.
I ran over to Rend, grabbed the blade of his sword and threw it to the ground, giving myself a nasty cut in the process. "What do you think you're doing?!" I shouted at Rend, he stared at me in disbelief "You've been here for a day and you've already attacked 3L twice!". I felt myself shaking with rage as I continued to yell at Rend "This man comes to help me but all you can do is try and kill him! Whats your problem?!" I was a few centimetres away from him by now. Rend tried to calm me "Mira.. I..." "No!" I spat back to him. I pointed at him with my bloody hand "Figure out which side you're on.." I growled at him as I threw his sword down and stormed off to a nearby rock that was higher then the others. Venom came and landed on my shoulder, mirroring the anger lowing out of me. I closed my eyes and tried to calm myself. I heard Rend and 3L arguing as I let my mind sense every being and plant in the surrounding area
After an hour or so the lava had cooled into charcoal on the ground I figured it was safe enough to climb down, but I waited till night... Once I thought Mira was asleep I walked over to the fire, and started to talk to 3L, "I should leave, I told him." he looked at me confusingly, "I haven't done anything to contribute to this group, besides I don't think she'll ever forgive me after what I've done here." he stood up walked over to a tree and rested against it, "She cares for you Rend, I've seen her feeling for you, despite the short time I've been here." he adjusted himself to get in a comfortable spot to start sleeping, "If you want to leave, I won't stop you, but remember you are always welcomed here, and I'm sure on our way back to Earth we will meet again." I crouched beside him and asked him, "What is this Earth and what was that weapon you drew during our fight?" he rolled over to look at me, "Earth is my home and Mira's it's not yours but it could be... I'm from the future as well as these Shadow Walkers. Mira's the key to Earth's future, and the life's of hundreds of millions. You must make a choice, you feel jealousy and greed. You can either give in to those, or resist them, either way when you decide your path is harder that mine or Mira's." he rolled back over and slept, I stood and walked past Mira's tent and I could hear her rolling over to go to sleep, she must've heard our discussion... I started to head off towards the road, and I looked back to see Spectrum slowly trotting behind me. I bent and told him to stay with them, "Mira needs you more than me, watch over her, please." He licked my cheek, sat down, and watched as I walked off into the distance...
HEY GUYS, I'M BACK FROM SCHOOL! Anyway, I call Rend back. "She needs you. You've been great friends for a while, and you even saved her from a prison in the Shadow-Walkers once. We all need you. You will be able to help us greatly.... You should stay..." I roll over to go to sleep.
Sorry, there is a balcony. You are 4 stories up. The rope would probably bring you to the 2 floor, so you would still have a bit to fall, which would hurt. (This was my way of saying "Pls don't leave us "
