How were you introduced to Minecraft?

I my self was introduced by my work buddy at his house.At first I thought it was dumb.How wrong I was indeed how wrong I was.

After a glowing review from one of my friends I was sceptical about MC. "So, you mine stuff, to find better stuff, to make better stuff so you can mine better stuff". I decided against buying it at this point, then the pocket edition went on sale for 10p so I gave it a go. After an hour I had purchased the full version.

After hours of random You Tubing and being way off from my original search. "How to Survive and Thrive" was before me. I was captivated.

Youtube.. I was wandering around, looking for comedy/parody vids and stumbles across PaulSoaresJr and Yogscast. I downloaded the game after watching several videos, playing offline so as not to pay, but ended up buying a copy to play on a server so their would be other folks around.

My friend introduce it to me at college.
At first I only know how to dig dirt and place it.
Then rage and quit cos i dont know how to make crafting table.
And after I realise google is the best advisor for this kinf of stuff.
Next thing I know is that im addicted

M brother had an account and i stole it from him I am under his username but he doesn't play anymore. I never payed a dime!

Well I heared a little about it on a forum I used to go to. Later when my MP3 player died, my dad had said I could use his iTough until I got a new one [That was a year ago, lol.] And luckly, I had YouTube on it and saw one of the Yogscast's vidoes [I think it was the Minecraft Olyimpics] and then I found out about other youtubers who play it and decided to get it aswell!

Fun, it was because of a Brazilian player who introduced it to me

So I was watching some videos and I saw one of the Yogocast's videos and I started watching it and it was really cool so bought the game

I heard about it in PC Gamer when it was first mentioned, shortly after Alpha. I was not convinced then... Then I heard about it in PC Gamer again and when visiting my brother, after leaving Honduras, I watched him play and he convinced me to purchase it after about 20 minutes of gameplay. I was hooked. That was in the 1.6.6 days..

yeah normally the order is: YOGCAST > BUY MINECRAFT. I believe Mojang should pay them for each vid

It was a long day a school, so I went home and opened up a few cans of coke. I got a LITTLE to much of sugar high and search up block minning. (Not really, my friend showed me, but I like this more.)

i was told that there weas a multiplayer game with hacks

Being a console gamer at first glance I was sure this game was garbage, I got a hold of it During the early stages of alpha and have been hooked ever since. My Xbox has dust on it. However i am very interested in seeing how this game will function on the Xbox in respect to the multiplayer. For Example , will we be able to have all the cool plugins like we have here in the Empire

My friend showed it to me a few years ago when it was literally just a concept (I have NO idea how he found it). I thought it was alright, but didn't plan on playing. Then when I got to college this year, JabrZer0 lives two doors down from me and he joined the Empire while hanging out in my room and he kept talking about how awesome it was so I gave it a shot... THE EMPIRE BROUGHT ME TO MINECRAFT XD!
