  12. oh ok, i like then, I have a pollen allergy xD
  13. I fixed your spoilers, because I am great.

Also, instead of spending all your money as soon as possible, why not consider saving it? If you did this until your 16th birthday, you could afford your own car.. or something else like that. Or, when you go on to live on your own, the extra money will probably go a long way.

    ..or buy the computer.
  14. In all seriousness, with the volatile foreign markets, now's a good time to invest in bonds.
Don't believe me? Hear it from Eminem. (video may contain some slightly inappropriate language)

  15. My town is pretty much farmville and corn detasseling made my day when i read this...

My friend bought Beats I was going to get some but they are a huge waste of money. I borrowed his for a week but returned them after about three days. They were big and bulky (i dont carry a purse so pretty much had to lug these things around everywhere) They did have good sound but i found them loud and hurt my ears even if i just turned it at 5%. I spent 20 dollars on some good headphones at walmart they were just as good.

You have to understand im one of those people that look at what i really need over what I want xD. I bought and payed off my car by the time i was 17 so im pretty good with money.

My advice would be look at the things you will need most, Computer you will need for school and stuff you can also game on that. Lizard tank yeah your lizard probably needs it, I would try to get those things first then work on getting a PS4, airsoft gun, and beats.
  16. Now may be the time to invest in bonds, but it's always a good time to get a computer lol

  17. What Bonds should I invest in? I'm getting at least $200 for my birthday so what should I invest in?

    My Birthday is in July

EDIT: Also from where? Is treasurydirect.gov a good place? (Hmm it's .gov it must be good)
  18. So far i'm thinking about getting the computer and getting the lizard tank. I wouldn't be able to afford a monitor though so i'm thinking about asking my parents if they will get that for me after i get the computer.
  19. Safe, yes, but the safer a bond is, the lower-yielding it tends to be. Safest bond in the world is the US Treasury Bond, but it also has an incredibly low yield.

My brother has £700 in NS&I Premium Bonds, and he's made £50 from two £25. The money's been in for less than a year, and he's basically earned the equivalent of a century of savings account interest. Here's where you can read more.

Alternatively, you could look into Irish Prize Bonds, which have twice the yield and are based on the Euro, which has recently bottomed out, meaning it's set to rebound from the eurozone crisis. You'll win twice as many times on average, and the value of the actual currency will increase hugely over time. However, it has to be quite a long-term investment, otherwise you'll lose money by converting it to and from USD and euro all the time.

If you're really feeling lucky, go for Bitcoin. Not a bond, effectively a commodity, like gold, cocoa beans, pork scratchings or orange juice. Here's more info. Over the last couple of months, 1 BTC has tripled in value, but it's not too late to get into the game! While 1 BTC is currently equal to approximately 120 USD (as of 22nd April, 2013) there were times when Bitcoin was 10 dollars, then tripled in price to 30 dollars, and everyone was laughing at the people who bought at the 'top'. But who's laughing now?
The value of Bitcoin sometimes goes down at the weekend, sometimes during the week. When it drops, spend that $200 on BTC on an exchange like Mt. Gox (look around for an exchange which offers the best price). The value sometimes drops to $15 and rebounds right back up to $100 and sometimes $200, we're talking about turning that $200 into $2000. Once your BTC hits a peak, sell, wait for a drop, and buy again. So, you sell when your BTC holdings are worth, say, $2000, and buy when the value hits rock bottom again. Wait till the value rises...that could be your $2,000 turned into twenty thousand big ones. And you can keep going, and going, and going.

However, if you choose to get into the Bitcoin game, understand the following.
    1. It will be a lot of work to monitor these charts and make sure you aren't losing out. If you miss a chance to buy or sell, don't worry, another one will come along next week.
    2. People go crazy over this. Take care of yourself. If you are feeling overly stressed, cash in and take a break for a week or two. People take out student loans to buy into Bitcoin, and there are suicide hotlines on display in the major Bitcoin communities, because some people can get very carried away.
    3. Be safe, don't be greedy.
Best of luck, whatever you decide!

EDIT: One more thing, keep your Bitcoin wallet secure! Look up instructions on the forums, there are many helpful resources. Failure to keep one's wallet properly secured could result in the loss of thousands of dollars worth of BTC down the line.
