North Korea has "entered" war with South Korea

  1. Like i said before.
This is similar to what Nazis did.
Killed people because they didn't fit their status.
Glad to know everyone does not think dropping bombs is a good idea. ._.

Good quote for you all who think bombs are a good idea.

"I don't know what world war III will be fought with, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones"
I think this was Einstein....correct me if i am wrong.

  2. I agree with your stance that the United States doesn't have the right to judge every other living being on earth.
I do not speak on behalf of the Military, the United States Government, or any of the political powers that be. My opinions are solely mine. I am influenced by what I have experienced in life and that is where I developed said opinions.
However, based on the acts and vocalizations of foreign enemies, I feel the proper response is to wipe the slate clean and start over. Much as mother nature, and the universe itself, has done in the past. My issue is that because we are capable of thought, war and global action, we should destroy the threat before it causes harm to the entire world.
The only country allied with N. Korea is China, and even the Chinese government is in support of the sanctions placed on the N. Korean government.
The U.S. is also a bully, just that we target those countries which hold no clout in the agenda set forth by the combined effort of the U.S. and her allied countries.
Unlike the USSR, N. Korea is not going to crumble unto itself and leave a dormant, placid government and people in its wake. We are dealing with an irrational group of people who are strictly confined to their small world. To them, nothing outside of N. Korea is following the proper doctrine and so they will resist and fight liberation to the death.

This has proven itself many times in history. Most notably, The Crusades, Spanish Inquisition, Taliban, Al-Qaeda, The Civil War, WWI, WWII, Pearl Harbor, Vietnam, Spanish-American War, Somalia, Egypt, etc.

Not all of these have ended with the radicals in power, however, at many times they have dominated over logical thinking.

I do agree, politically speaking, we can't just go in and wipe out an entire civilization like we tried to do to the Native American tribes. The world no longer agrees that wars should be fought until one race is eradicated. However, radical groups are not like Snakes, they are more akin to Hydras. Cut off one head, another two grow in its place.
To destroy them, we must gut the entire creature and replace it with a puppet leader and control them indirectly...

This will lead to a unified world government if Earth, Mother Nature of the Universe itself does not step in and bombard earth with natural disasters and massive meteor or asteroid attacks. This is the way I would love the world to end; massive natural events that can't be curtailed by humanity. A massive extinction resulting in a new dominant species, one that can live peacefully within the boundaries of Earth and the Universe. A world of naturally existing, thriving nature not muddied up by the ignorance of believing they are a divine creature placed here to dominate.

I hate humanity, as a whole, not any particular individual or group of people. I am disgusted I must pay for nutrition, shelter and freedom. These are "God-given" rights and yet I must comply with societal laws that prevent me from retaining such rights without slaving away at meaningless employment. Worse yet, I must fight in wars that are directly influenced by these very infringements on behalf of a very small secular group who control these aspects.

  3. I understand what you're saying, but I reckon that absolutely destroying North Korea is too high a price to pay. The guilt of what we'd done would just undermine our society, and would set a precedent to do a similar thing to anybody else that stood up against the establishment. This wouldn't help world peace, and we'd end up with our society in a similar state to North Korea.

The West should try to gradually gain the trust of the rest of the World, which we lost when we went around colonising everywhere, and try to be seen through organisations such as the UN as a peace keeper. Maybe then it'd be less likely that other cultures would feel threatened into threatening the West. Also, it would give us a better bargaining position to help the oppressed masses in places like North Korea.

I'm probably coming across as far too naive, but if the West tries to be heavy-handed, I think crises like North Korea and the examples you listed will just cycle on forever.

  12. The U.S. military is returning some units home from Afghanistan extremely early... Today North Korea declared they will conduct Nuclear War on the United States if we do anything else to threaten them.
Many are calling this another bluff, but the reactions of the U.S. military is not a sign of reassurance to any of us. :(
