Help with Optifine!

Deleted it, still nothing... i still dont get what

Internal Mods
Mods that go into the .minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar | Just place the internal mods in whatever directory you prefer and then select the 'add' button on magic launcher in order to install internal mods.
External Mods
Mods that go into the .minecraft/mods directory

Be sure to read the author's post in where to install the mod.

Download either ModLoader or Forge APIs in order to use mods.
Note: DO NOT install ModLoader or ModLoaderMP with Forge. Forge contains FML, which is a replacement for ModLoader and ModLoaderMP.

1. forge universal or modloader
2. Other mod
3. Other mod
4. OptiFine -- Author states that OptiFine should be last in the list with other mods

External Mod Setup -- No Install Order

Okay, so when you have the folder, it's named "minecraft" right? Change it to "minecraft.jar"

And do that

And delete the other one?? as in the .zip?

your not supposed to do that with magic launcher.

Doesn't matter, Minecraft won't care if the zip is in there, but you can delete it if you want.

Ok i did all that... the minecraft folder is named minecraft.jar

still nothing

Like, the minecraft folder INSIDE the bin, or the whole folder?
Also, you might want to try to install forge, the same way you installed optifine.

So, this thread kinda inspired me to finally get around to installing optifine, I just downloaded magic launcher, downloaded optifine, added optifine from the magic launcher setup menu, launched the game, and it worked perfectly.

EDIT: It has also doubled my fps

You're going to need to install forge the same way you installed OptiFine.
