[Old Thread] Mob Arena

Nick always wins. I think he should take a break from it and let other people win.

No I will not take a break because someone doesnt thinks its fair that i always win if you want to win then you will have to beat me

Please don't tell people to not participate in an EMC event. This is public and for EVERYONE. Plus, I have won before, and alot of other people won because they actually tried

The key to Nick's and others success is that they put a good investment into it. Its how you survive the longest. If you realllllly want to win, make a mock mobarena on your single player world (world downloader), and practice with good sets of armor.

Except for the fact that I can't get good armor.
I've gotten fourth place with no armor, and third with a regular set of diamond.

Oh, trust me, I try. I used my last diamond armor set trying. I used one of my best enchanted swords trying. I have put tons of money into mob arena, and you tell me I don't try?

Just because you cant get good armor, doesnt mean that others shouldnt be able to participate just because they can get good armour.

I think there should be a limit on how many times they can win a month.

Enchanted armor thats Level 30 with a bunch of books inside, god sword, god bow, golden apples, potions, practice?

I think, no offense, that you shouldn't be so greedy in trying to win the items from the mob arena by taking down people who actually try their best

That is like banning the richest players on the server from using their rupees.

Hmmm, lets see. I can't get level 30 armor once a week. Or get tons of enchanted books.
Can't get a god sword.
Can't get a god bow.
Definitely can't get god apples.
Could get potions.
Trust me, I practice.
This is the average member. A large portion of the community can't afford these things.

That is the wrong attitude to take IMO.
You can get these things, you just have to work for them.

I can't either. But do you know how I get it? I earn it - Mining and Grinding. If you can't get those things, then you really aren't trying These days, people need that to win mob arena

Please tell me, how would I work to get 40k for good armor? 12k for a bow? 15k for a sword? A couple thousand for golden apples?

This is minecraft... how do you think people made those things? They mined and made it

I have no access to a great grinder and I have no idea how to make one. I mine a lot. But I can't stay on for hours on end endlessly mining.

Who's saying you need to buy them?

Then it just shows that you aren't actually trying to win
