  1. Yes.
  2. Comic books are allowed also, just let them be age appropriate.
That meaning that they can have cuss words ( a few not too bad ones ), as long as you put a warning, and no nudity or very gory comics except in spoilers, and put a warning for our younger players.
  3. Awh man…there goes all my favorite comic books.
And that rules out a lot of good DC comic books…

  4. Ah well, how bad are they?
Maybe if you put them in spoilers and let the players read them at their own discretion they can be allowed on this thread. :)
  5. hmm... what books do I like, how many can you post?
  6. As many as you like.
As long as it isn't spamming and such.

  7. I won't post then... :p
  8. No, please post.
All I mean is, a long list of books, no summary, no description, kind of a lazy list.
You don't have to write a long paragraph, but just so we can get the gist of what the book is about.
  9. I'm not going into huge detail about them…just some brief descriptions with warnings.
Ok, first off. These comics contain blood, some language, and lots of violence.
Bedlam. (HylianNinja got me interested in this) A serial killer called Madder Red goes around and kills people. It's pretty good. (Ask Hylian for more details; I've only read issue 1.
Blackest Night: I found this comic crossover to be quite the read. Green Lantern and the living take on the dead Black Lantern Corps.
Watchmen: My favorite Alan Moore comic. Contains lots of blood, nudity, language and occasional smoking/alcohol. Superheroes are being framed/killed.
Axe Cop: Written by a 5 year old (Now 6), and drawn by his 20 some year old brother. It's awesome. Totally kid friendly, and absolutely ridiculous. Dinosaurs, zombies, axes, cops, flutes, unicorns, uni-people, socks, ninjas from the moon, EVERYTHING.
  10. Axe Cop sounds interesting.
    I might read that first.
I am trying to get into hero comics, Both DC and Marvel.
I am starting with Thor: Cicadel of Spires, Iron Man: Heart of Steel, and Green Lantern: Secret Origin Book I. I also am reading adventure time but that's just because I love adventure time. :p

It was just the first Iron Man movie, thought more detail.
    Im feeling nerdy this year.

  12. Manga series that I read that I enjoyed was Pet Shop of Horrors. It's a Japanese horror manga series and it's not like bloody gorey to the point you will freak out but there are deaths and such. I think the age on the back says 16+ It's about a pet shop in LA, Chinatown. The owner, Count D, sells pets for just about everyone. The catch is this "pet" looks humanoid in appearance and if the contract is broken then there are usually consequences.

  14. Please make it soon.
  15. You can put anything into modern comic books. ANYTHING.
Bedlam is the most disturbing comic book I have ever read. A few pages into the first issue Madder Red, who is my avatar picture, slits a little girls throat in front of the super hero. An exact qoute, "I have been busy rolling around in the blood of your kids and doing all kinds of nasty things to their dead bodies". But there is more to it than that on the front of every issue it says, "Is evil just something you are or something you do?". The comic book begins to transition from the man's life as Madder Red to his life after, as he tries to find redemption for his crimes. It is a very smart comic book, and if I was told that I was only allowed to purchase on comic book a month it would be Bedlam.
  16. Why do you read it?
    Is there any nudity?
It does sound interesting, and I don't have much of a problem with blood and guts.
  17. There is nudity.
Edit: I read it because it makes me think and it is awesome.
Completely off topic: Why is it that everything you post reminds me of Zoebearfun105?

  18. How bad is the nudity?
I seem to get that a lot, I am very like Zoebearfun105.
  19. In the second issue Madder Red is naked except for his mask. It is not super graphic.

I am now positive you are Zoebearfun105's alt.

  20. Just the second issue? And, You can see everything but his face?
