I posted a picture earlier. It is gone.

So pretty much every wooden build got hit by fires.
Mrlegitislegit already donated 10k to me to distribute and help repairs.
I will put another 5k to the fund.

As for reconstruction I will try and help as much as I can but don't expect the musical birch house to be up anytime soon. The beachhouse got hit so bad I will probably just tear it down and give away the space or plan something new.

As for the fund:
Simply ask for the sum you need and maybe explain for which materials (as other LLO members might have them on stock anyway).

I am still really sad to see some of the epic builds gone or damaged probably beyond repair. But I think we can survive this. Let's stick toegether now.
Maybe fancy things like the LLOlympics have to be delayed. I will focus my limited minecraft time on helping repair and restore.
Let's rise from the ashes even bigger and better than before!

I will venture to town within the next six hours. If people want to donate some money to me I can buy some essential things like planks etc.

Legit checked the west. Said some damage from fires too but not that bad. I have not been there myself but he told me the library is fine.

I will have to go off game as my computer can't take minecraft and other things it has to do at the moment. Just overheats.
We probably should set up donation / help repair chests at the griefed places as much as we can.
But do not put public chests in for now. For all we know the griefer has friends or an alt account.

Becuase zulu9 is the LLO founder (and lives in germany)and the LLO just got griefed I have decided that August 18th will be a holiday for the LLO. Each year from now on we will have a big celebration.

More like a memorial day. Not a day to party for sure. But I agree we should remember the date as the first really really bad big griefing at the LLO. The place looks like London after the big fire or a village robbed and burned by vikings

I'd say we cancel the parties and use the resources for rebuild purposes. As mentioned earlier we might have to delay the LLOlympics too.

But a celebration of how we got 28k in the fund within an hour of the griefings being discovered.

Yes. And hopefully a celebration how we all worked together to rebuild and made it even more awesome

The recovery plan is looking good so far.

We are planning on taking down most buildings near grand central and the sirairbear skyscraper

That is a bit rough summary.
We will have a list of things that are ruins trying to find the builder and asking if he / she plans on rebuild
If not we will have to remove the debries.

1. Look for signs or people that know whose builds got griefed

1. If the owner can not be determined (signs burned down etc) post a screenshot asking

1. Contact Victims

1. Try to contact the griefing victim to try find out which ressources will be needed to repair

1. Set up donation chest

1. Set up a chest with your name and the victim's name near the griefing site. Put any helpful ressources you got in.

1. If the victim can not be identified or does not want to rebuild -> See redesign

Redesign:
Things that won't be rebuild should be taken down. This is sad but also a chance to build something new and better there.

I am thinking of replacing the guesthouse with this if it fits.

Looks great but let's focus on rebuilding the infrastructure (treefarms!) and people's homes first. After everyone feels safe again we can start imagining the future

agreed with zulu repair first and don't get ahead of yourself setting up 5or6 projects at one time
