Well, after playing on SMP 7 for a few days, I created a massive tree fortress, I made myself known to a few people, and chatted frequently. I was always willing to help people and such and did so often. But now I can't play anymore because of I've been banned due to my name. I was really having fun, too. I had just ventured deep into the wilderness with my friend and we were setting ourselves up out there in order to stock up on valuable items and then, bam, I was booted. This inhales profusely. I understand that, if taken out of context, my name can be offensive. But so can many names, if you think about it. My name is not referencing anybody, any group of people, or any of the such, just me. I use it for a lot of things because I believe it describes me well. Not because I am homosexual, or mentally disabled, but because I am odd and I can be a tard sometimes, meaning I have some blonde moments. No one ever mentioned my name in a negative way, in fact, I was told by someone on SMP7 that they loved my name. It's supposed to be amusing, and to most people, it is. Keep in mind, that queer means odd, in this case. Well, anyway, it's not going to do me any good to write a book. Farewell.
I don't believe I can appeal. I haven't gotten any notifications of my ban, so I don't think that's an option in this case.

How would I come back with a new username? I'm pretty sure the only way to do that is to buy a new account. I am not doing that. I don't believe it's worth compromising my username to play on this server. I mean, it's great and all, and I really like the community, but it's not worth it.
Who knows how they decide which ones are or aren't acceptable. If you want to appeal the ban, start a conversation with one of the mods and talk with them. The ones who are online right now show on the right hand side of the Home page. Click on the link next to their name, then on the "Start a Conversation" link. It's unfortunate that once you pick a Minecraft in-game name you're stuck with it. Good luck.
Incidentally, there are a few names floating around that I find questionable and could just as easily have been you. Yet they are allowed to remain here. I could drop a few if you think it would help your case.
