Goat Head Head

Okay I have a Goat Head that's tagged Goat Head Head. It was fixed minutes after i got it and reported it to staff. A simple mistake but the only tag mistake of 1.17 as far as heads and tags go. So its the only one on Emc and I'm just wondering what some of the head hunters would pay for it. I know the enraged eggs from the past mistakes go for a decent bit but to have the only ones on Emc kinda makes it that much more rare. So I'm not looking for offers just what you think it would go for or what you (would) pay.

I could very well be wrong, but I think it's worth what a normal goat head is worth as anyone can just rename a goat head "Goat head Head".

Since most of EMC head names have italic names, this doesn't make them unique and it allows anyone to just rename a goat head "Goat head Head" as it would look exactly same as yours.

If EMC made the names not italic, I'm sure you'd be able to get a decent amount of rupees for it.

Haha yea I'm sure that you could rename anything in Emc for example I could get Aikar's skin and rename the head Aikar but it wouldn't be the real deal and it would be worth as much. But the fact that your trying to copy it already tells me its gonna be worth something xD As far as I see it its Emc history and i have the only one's. Pretty sure Moople could let you know that this is legit and actually her first mistake being a dev so... Emc history. I already got an offer of 500k which I will not be taking since I collect heads. This is if you think about it more rare (But not as cool) lol as a dragon egg being the only one's on the server which is pretty cool to have in my collection. He's trying to say that you can make any goat head have that name, just like I have renamed by Husk Head to Husk Head Head. Did you rename it? Probably not and we believe you. Unfortunately, this probably doesn't increase the value due to it being replicable.

There may be a market, but it is a very technical market.

Yes and i understand that and i actually tried it and it looks the same but the fact is its a legit drop and a legit mistake of Emc history so its value raises i wasn't being mean i was just saying from Emc collector its value for me and most Emc history buffs its got more value then a reg. goat head. i mean if you buy a dragon egg from me its fake lol if you get it from shavingfoam then you know it legit kind of thing i guess lol And now its noted that their are only 2 legit Goat Head Head's From a simple 1.17 update mistake on Emc. 1 of which Obwangottemm own's and 1 of which tamraaa own's.

Nobody here is disagreeing with this being a "unique" drop. The problem is that there is no way for you to prove that this is a unique drop and you didn't just rename it.

To help show this, you can try out this command:

• /itemhistory - shows which player(s) have repaired the item you are holding. Items repaired using the Mending enchant are not displayed here.

This command will show some changes to items, but not renames. So, if you or anybody gets a fake goat head and renames it, there's no way for anybody to actually prove it's a real one.

Since there's no way to prove it's a real one, that means that it doesn't have any extra value. Most of the long standing players on this server who know how this works wouldn't pay extra for this because they can’t prove that it's real.

In addition, since it can't be proven that it's real, that also means that staff can't support the sale. You can state that it's real but people have to take your word for it in order to sell it. You can't say it's an "EMC special item" because EMC can't prove that it's real.

Hopefully this makes sense and helps clarify.

Yes and that's been clarified threw and threw but again its Emc history and if i didn't get a legit one and faked it the mistake that Moople made wouldn't of been brought to light and or changed and their would be more then just 2 of these floating around. It can be faked Yes. But it is a Obvious fact that i have the only legit ones on Emc which i understand staff cant prove this but they can tell ya they did make this mistake and i in fact brought it to light (Which i wouldn't know unless i did get the drop)and was changed minutes after. Its in fact Emc history due to it being a legit drop when Moople can tell you that she did in fact made the mistake which i shouldn't have to throw her under the bus for clarification lol (Sorry Moople). And yes i can say its an Emc special item because it is a special item obtained in Emc 1.17 update xD again its not for the ruppees and i will not be selling it so we dont have to put a price on it. i just wanted it noted on the forums that i and tamraaa have the only Legit Goat Head Head's on Emc

Perfect and i totally agree. Who notified Moople of this discovery? And how long after was it fixed? Could i possible get that (Word of Mouth) from Moople if she even want's too at this point? Just an answer to both questions is all was needed this whole thing turned into cause we cant distinguish if its real lol like 607 was like cool, enjoy that was the best part of this thread xD
