  1. Is there a way to stop this interfering with villager mechanics?

  2. Can you explain how this would affect villager mechanics? I don't understand.

  3. Villagers need to have slept in the last day in order to restock their trades or summon golems. A simple workaround would be once everyone is in bed, set the time to night for a few seconds to let the villagers sleep, as they dont need to for the full night, and then skip to day.

  4. Wouldn't the same problem happen in singleplayer worlds when you sleep? I assumed that the night skipping counted for villagers as sleeping as well.

  5. Oh, maybe you're right, would have to look into that

  6. I assume not, because you can only sleep when it's night. I haven't looked into this myself, though.
  7. I never thought about this, but I think you might be right. I skip the night almost methodically on my private server, yet my iron farm never ceases to churn out the goods. Villagers do also tend to sleep IMMEDIATELY when it turns to night, though, so maybe they've just been able to hop in bed while the sleep animation is occurring and we just don't notice.
