  1. We are not trying to give Merek a diamond voucher, we are trying to get a diamond voucher so we can get another res.
  2. I thought he already had a diamond vouch
  3. We are not giving Merek a diamond voucher
  4. You still have not gone about what everyone is asking.

Why can't you do this? Why not save your own funds? Build the items you need?

  5. I can't do this because I don't have the money. If I save that will take me 400 days. I will build the items I need
  6. Change the "we" above to "I" and this seems to sum up this thread.

If you really want to keep Merek remembered, and potentially save stuff for him in a possible return then you can either vote for him, use vouchers for him, or get a permanent derelict voucher to use on his res. A residence built by the person in question should be monument enough to remember who they really were.

I think it would be good to keep Merek in our prayers too.

  7. I have no reason to doubt your comment just yet, but I do find it rather peculiar that Merek hasn't contacted the people within his outpost about this. Now, I'm not a member of said outpost but a guest and mostly helping out a friend of mine. A friend who I just asked about this and she has no idea what is supposed to be going on. "Strange".

I can't back up my claim just yet, but right now I seriously question the legitimacy of this request. Something I plan to follow up on. If I'm wrong I'm wrong, but if I'm right then I think you're playing a very unethical game here.

How exactly does this help save Merek?

If he's taking a break then he's also coming back, so... what is there to remember?

Wouldn't it be much more helpful to ensure that he doesn't go derelict? For example by voting for him and his alts as well as his sons accounts? Wouldn't it actually help to apply an iron voucher onto those accounts so that they can't go derelict (1 dia voucher equals 4 iron vouchers; 4 months worth of derelict protection).

Why is the most important aspect of helping him listed in the smallest way possible?

That's all I have to share for now, as said I plan to follow up on this and right now I seriously hope that I'm wrong about my assumptions.

  8. If you really tried then you can do it faster.

  9. Why not do option 2?

Build it in the frontier and use your blocks you gathered?

I myself made an island at /wild e. Head west when there. Oh it's on smp6 as well. Just to get ideas.

That way you don't have to beg for rupees and beg for items.

Note that build of mine was obtained my myself 100%.

  10. I may close this thread due to so much negativity, I never new EMC had so much if this
  11. Its not negativity.

People suggest other ideas to do it, but you ignore and instead rely on others to fund all your builds.

  12. Ok, let's compromise I will make a new post about some of your ideas.
  13. EMC community had never ever been negative to donate for the projects, that are awesome in one or another way, or if they truly are a community project. Also the intentions are nice, they cover up the benefit to turn out for yourself only. Can't blame the community noticing it and making a fair points.
I have a feeling, Merek would rather have a hand on voting for them than a pedestal built. Why not help them that way, if you really care?
