[Closed] Save Merek...

As some of you may know our beloved friend Merek_Shadower is taking a break from EMC for a while due to IRL reasons.
So me (ShadowsPeak) and are gonna make a remembrance res, but we need YOUR help. We need to get a Diamond Voucher or Max Res Voucher to make the remembrance res.

So if you would like to donate rupees to the cause, donate the rupees to ShadowsPeak and he and AncientTower and some others will build the monument.

Diamond Voucher is 400k Rupees
Max Res Voucher is ??? (A LOT)

So with your help, we can make this possible.

Why do you keep asking for donations for everything you do, if you don't have the funds save up to a reasonable amount before you actually ask for donations.

This is a community project, we want the community to contribute to it because it is a community project.

For once i can agree with you. You do seem ti also ask for Donations a lot, perhaps you should try to save up some as well. /vote is a great way to start. And if your really serious perhaps sell some promos or quartz or ores and such.

Another thing you could perhaps improve on is making us more interested in donating? Like giving more details or somthing?

From what I have seen you do continue to ask for donations from everyone. My advice would be to just go out and grind some materials and sell those in order to buy the things you need instead of being reliant on everyone else.

I agree with runder, I have only seen threads asking for Rupees and Items for builds with little to nothing to put into them.

Now your asking for 2.6 million for a Max res voucher from people....

If you cant do it, work with what you have. People wont fund your stuff.

Also note that this is also considered Begging and is against the rules due to you have many active threads asking for totals in the millions.

We are not being rude We are merely giving you advice, if your going to continue to beg for rules and get mad when people are questioning you then maybe you need to work on gathering stuff to prove your serious and commited

That doesn't change the fact that you're technically breaking the rules, as begging (and I think we can all agree that this is indeed begging) is prohibited.

While individual moderators can donate or get involved in a private event with another player if they want, their involvement does not imply an endorsement by the EMC staff of the event.

Can a player use a diamond voucher for another player? Could I redeem a diamond voucher for Merek?

We are trying to make Merek a memorial. If you would like you could donate a diamond voucher to me, the res I get from it then would be used for the memorial res.

And what stops you from changing that res to your own res for personal use when you get tired of what that res is? And dont say I wont change it, as Some day you will want that res for use, and that money others used will be thrown away. I have seen it many times on smp6 alone.

I will not change it because Merek is my friend, if anything I would change the ownership to Merek.

Trust is not something that can just be given. Why not just use a res you already have ? Or build a floor in your casino ?

We cant do a floor on the casino because we are planning to build his head in a pixel form

Well you also can't do a pixal art because you don't have a res.

The whole point of this fundraiser was to get help getting a res.

Yes. But every one of your posts seem to be asking for something. Red stone rupees casino workers. Why not see if someone else will let you build it on their res. Or spend the $20 IRL to get your own diamond voucher instead of asking for 325k plus of rupees for yourself.

Yes, that can indeed be done. Just redeem the voucher as normal and in the comment field specify that you want it to apply to someone else. Let's just say that I speak from personal experience and leave it at that

However... It is a tricky setup because how sure are you that the person you're giving the supporter status to can actually use it at that given time?
