Bone Machine - Calling all PWU Members

CALLING ALL PWU MEMBERS
Bone Machine has been functionally complete for about 2 months now. This is all that's left to do.

1. The locked chest "graveyard" needs to be finished.
2. The skull entrance needs to be done.
3. After the skull is done, a path needs to be made from it to the PWU road.
4. Make sure nothing in surrounding area is spawnable (torches, slabs).

I return to my 2 jobs and zero time for fun tomorrow. I won't be back for another month. I'm sorry this build has dragged out in my absence. Real life happens, and I needed the money.

I can't find Rhy of the ever changing names. Does anyone know what it is?

Rhy was originally interested in doing the skull entrance, but I think something has happened. I'm not sure if he didn't want to proceed without me in game, or something else came up. I haven't been able to get a hold of him (which is my fault, not his - I'm the idiot who can't find his current name!).

I'd really like to get this build officially opened. People are already using it.
In the interest of moving things along, I'm tossing up the "bat signal", and asking for help getting these last steps completed.

I reached out to HashHog to see if he has a skull entrance design we could use. I really want someone other than the usual suspects to take on the main aesthetic feature. PWU is run by a ton of volunteers, and the work by me, Corrupted, Chris and Walrus is already too prevalent. It is time for someone else to shine on PWU. Rhy, if you still want to do the skull, holler and get a move on mate please.

All materials and tools are available from PWU (/v khixan-3@pwu). There are about 30+ PWU members with access to that storage. If you should have access and you don't because I'm a senile idiot, hit me up.

I know I haven't been around to be the driving force behind the scenes, and that will continue for another month. I have faith you all don't really need me, and can get this done.

Bone Machine is located at -1105, -10230. It is just off the PWU road at smp8 Wild North (near Pigmentus). The pattern for the graveyard is already there. Feel free to add decorative touches. Just remember the golden rules for these builds - It has to be safe, and it should NOT be able to spawn mobs. We want skeletons, and nothing but skeletons at this location. At this particular build, you cannot knock into the walls on the west side. The spawner is there. End of specifications.

lol.. So, do the signs change at the Nether Hub? It's connected to Pigmentus, right?

Not connected, but that happens to be the closest existing build. It's off the road in the water between Pigmentus and Ben's tree farm.

the magma blocks in the bone machine are killing about 1/3rd the skellis 2 blocks away from the hopper makinging it not so efficient

I wanted to let y'all know that Bone Machine is nearing completion. Rhy aka Doorfne (or whatever he's changed his name to in the last 2 minutes) has finished the entrance skull, woot!

This took a ton longer than all our other builds because I've been working my poor tushie off in real life, and I haven't been on emc much at all. I have to work this weekend and next weekend, but this build is close to being finished. It has been fully operational since end of January. Thanks to everyone who helped while I've been mostly gone!

If you want to help with the finishing touches, the chest room still needs to be completed. The pattern is up to copy pasta.
I think we have to wait for me on the road/entrance because I'm one of 3 people that can break some of those blocks.

It's not a dual sadly, but it's at a good location and the spawn rates are very nice. No pics, but it's easy enough to go see out at Wild N. It's on the road from town near Pigmentus and Fe(II). Decorating is really all that's left to finish.

Do you already have decorations planned or do you need help with that?

I started the "locker room" (chests for players to lock if they wish) as a graveyard. That needs to be finished up, and I'd welcome decorative touches in there Tbird. Chests for locking should be placed in /noprotectmode with a sign inside each one. Anything else, use /bmode for obvious reasons. I also have a lonely enderchest just sorta sitting near the kill chamber. Feel free to give it an alcove with some furnaces or decorations. Thank you!!!
