Unfortunately, I read the "but otherwise most small changes to the forums simply will not be possible" sentence in the "read first" post, but maybe I'm lucky and this is a small change that could be possible. For us non-americans, we're not necessarily used to EST, so we might make mistakes calculating current EMC time. It would be great, especially in the auctions part of the forum, if we could see current EMC time somewhere to know if an auction is over. Doesn't have to be a life clock that updates every second, some "page was loaded at xx:yy EMC time" message would be fine. I don't know anything about Xenforo, but if I understand https://xenforo.com/community/threads/displaying-xenforo-date-time.82116/ correctly, using {xen:date $serverTime, 'l, F j - g:i a'} in the template should do the trick and not require any changes to the software.
On the front page on the right hand side there is the current EMC time, also this link should help https://empireminecraft.com/wiki/emc-time/
You don't need to know the current time in EMC Time to know whether or not an auction has ended. Your time stamps should be in local time if you have set your time zone. Since you're from a different country, you may want a 24-hour clock instead (unless the country in which you hail uses a 12-hour clock). I've been told that a 24-hour clock would be possible once EMC updates Xenforo, so... maybe a few years.
