So since this was the winning bid. Do we as a community accept this price as the new value of each copy left in existence?

Its tough with limited items like this. I paid 500k for mine maybe a year ago. Thing is for some when they get an item like this it's like it's out of circulation because they will never sell it so the available copies only gets smaller and smaller. This might not be it's value but it's what it might take in order to get one.

Just trying to access how much my copy is worth that's all. Also I tried to locate a thread that listed all the known owners of the book but couldn't find it.

But it's very outdated. As for this book, I'd say it was about 1-1.5 million.
