Hello I'm Battymonster new to minecraft and love it so far

I've played in survival mode for a while now and I think I have the basics down. Thought I'd try playing on a server and learn more about the game and build some cool stuff. For now I'm wondering the frontier looking for a place to start a base/home.

Cool! Welcome to Empire Minecraft Batty! I think you'll see that EMC is quite a nice way to play (and maybe learn?) more about Minecraft because it sits really close to vanilla play (the same as you'd get in singleplayer survival) but... With a few extra perks attached (such as your town plot which no one can grief).

One thing I'd like to mention: right now the server could be a little quiet. That's because most people playing are from the US (not me ). If you use the /time command in-game you'll see "EMC time"; you'll find the most people online around the evening (EMC time). But... that doesn't mean that you can't have any fun!

And you're perfectly right; if you'd like to get a bit of an "Survival experience" then building in the Frontier can be an excellent way to start. There are a few things to keep in mind: if you're in the Frontier then you cannot chat in town chat (the main chat channel) but you can chat with people close to you (local chat) or in private (long boring story ;-)).

Also be sure to remember that the Frontier is mainly for building and not for getting resources (that is: not for mining out whole areas). If you found a cool spot you like then there's nothing wrong with collecting some resources close to your main base, just make sure that you don't treat it as if it were the wastelands (=mining world) because the Frontier never resets.

But won't worry too much about it. I'm simply trying to help you get started as best as possible! Which brings me to: if you have any questions be sure to use these forums, they're meant to be used. And you can always drop me a message too if you have questions (either here or in the game).

Hey there batty, just a note that you can quote more than one post in the reply box! This will reduce the amount of times you have to post and it's just more convenient

If you scroll back up and click quote many times, once for each post, it will quote all the posts you click "quote" for

As Alice said, just press the reply button on each post you want to reply to. They'll all add up in the text box at the bottom of the page - once quoted, you can then fill in a reply for each of them. Remember to put your reply in between the different quotes for them to work properly
