Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland are separate countries. Kind of. Scotland, England, and Wales were united as Great Britain in the 1700s - but that sort of doesn't exist any more, but at the same time it kind of does. They're all united under the 'United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland', and have been since 1922. Each country all have different cultures though (most of England isn't even similar to Southern England, and Cornwall doesn't even want to be part of England lol). TL;DR: If people are using England for a country, you can use Wales.
