  5. Well it's really quite possible to do this really detailed in stone, only the fact that you need to include the massive hair width makes it necessary to scale the build down.

    Real-life sculptors also work in one type of material and still make it life-like.

    The only problem that people might have here is the massive quantity of dirt to remove and the problem of not being able to fly around it to work on hard to reach parts. When professional sculptors needed to make a massive statue they made a clay, scaled down, draft and then they made the parts like the arms, hands, legs, rump, etc. on the ground so it was way more easy to make. It's extremely difficult to sculpt something if you're not able to quickly eyeball the statue as a whole.

    And because of the reason that people can't fly around their statue, they need sculpt it like some kind of huge printer and work down to the bottom. And that's definitely not a known traditional way of sculpting.

  15. True, but there is only just over a week left, so the person who claimed the next plot would have to work non-stop to get something finished... There's a lot of dirt and I don't think many people would be able to finish it within the deadline if they started now :oops: Not saying that the next person in line won't be able to do it, I may be pleasantly surprised, we'll see! :D
