  8. America can't take their future seriously, really shows the rest of the world a great example of how intelligent a large portion of the nation's public are.
  9. No. Please, no.
  10. I agree 100%. Based on recent trends on the forums, this will start a flame war, so let's not. :)

  11. What you two see as a nation that doesn't care about its future, I see one that is fed up with its past. We have two blithering idiots as our front runners in the two main parties, and no close contenders to push them down at this point. We have two polar parties that both have one goal in common; never work with the other. Elections all over the world are practically sponsored at this point. The messages spewed are those backed by donations/super PACs.

Third party candidates have a long history in the US as being idea peddlers. Their candidate's campaigns are not nearly as money guided as the two main parties, which gives them the freedom to be the people's voice. If you do a quick search about "Deez Nutz" as a candidate, he was created by a 15 year old boy. Whether intentional or as a joke, the outcome of him being added as a poll option is striking. Some people are voting for him as a joke, but others are voting for him to convey the message that they are sick of what our politics have become.

If anything, these results (it is not just happening in NC) are showing that the US is highly interested in someone other than the candidates we currently having, something far from not caring about the future.

  12. ^ that sums it up really.. can't add anything else to it. By this time next year I really doubt that Trump is be running and hope Hillary doesn't get the Democrat nomination.

  13. Why would you expect Trump to drop out of the race?

  14. Trump thinks he is the best he would never drop out
  15. Because... DEES NUTS! HA GOT EEM...

Most likely due to people realizing how bad he is. He'll be a stumped Trump who won't know what to do besides wait four more years for another go.
  16. I personally think that trump is running specifically for self esteem. In my eyes most everyone thinks he is an [insert foul language here]. Quoting multiple people with that, more or less. He is known for not hesitating to fire someone for the smallest reasons. So he may want to run so he can know that people like him.
  17. How bad he is? He might be wealthy, but he hasn't bought the good poll results he's gotten so far. He speaks freely, and voices a lot of popular opinions unspoken by all other candidates.
  18. Cause he's flash in the pan really he did this back in 2012 then back out cause still wanted be part of private sector. He said this "I maintain the strong conviction that if I were to run, I would be able to win the primary and, ultimately, the general election." He shoulda, woulda, coulda kinda of guy and yes he's saying stuff that most want to say out loud but don't.
