  1. as rainbow said. Unsure why it was related, but oh wells!

We don't world edit enough to make it worth changing anything about it.
It's Minecraft is really all I can tell you. I wouldn't take chunk updates as anything referencing server lag.

As for the connection issue, thats a java/minecraft bug, only thing I can say is ensure you're running the most up to date Java 7 from oracle (NOT OpenJDK) and restart client.

Optionally, use "playsmpX.emc.gs", those will go around the bug and will always work.
    mba2012, Pab10S and Shon14 like this.
  2. I keep getting kicked from utopia, anyone know why?

EDIT: ok, and now /p tomvanwijnen says I'm online, but TAB doesn't... :/ this is fixed
  3. Seems a few servers lost connection to database... Hard restarting them.
    mba2012 and TomvanWijnen like this.
  4. Oh yeh, something else I noticed ...are the /who information in sync with bungee? I seem to type /who smp1 ... /who smp2 ... etc and sometimes after I do that, and go to that server ... someone won't be on that server, but /who said they were .... or someone is currently logged into the same server as me, but /who says they are on a different server.
  5. Maybe it's just a network problem somewhere, but since an hour so I see major packet loss and network lag... Died twice because of it... (on smp6, but I guess it is not smp6 related)
  6. can you get a trace route?
  7. I've only tried simple traceroute, but I don't get responses from some point:

traceroute to smp6.empire.us (198.178.120.213), 30 hops max, 60 byte packets

perhaps some very smart people filter network diagnostics...

    what usually happened was:

but it seems it got better now.
  8. I live in a different state, it seems fine for me.

  9. In SMP9 it didn't allow me to claim the /promo top10. Even if I relog or try different shift and click combinations I can't claim the bow. Please help!
  10. You should just have to hold shift and left click. I was able to get it.
  11. I've tried that several times but for some reason it doesn't do anything :/
  12. Make sure that TouchScreen mode is off. It's in settings.

  15. What is touchscreen mode anyways? :P When it got added I tried it out, but I really didn't understand how it worked :p
  16. It's for W8, so u can use the touchscreen to move and do stuff.
  17. I'm not sure if this is considered a server problem, but I've been playing on 4 for a couple days now, and all of a sudden whenever I come, I can only get to server 1. s4 always gives me this connection refused error. (in fact, it always has and I end up using the play.emc.gs for ip and it usually sends me to s4, but not today.) I hope this makes sense... Can anyone help me?
  18. Sometimes depending on what time you get on, you hit the Server reboot (like right now) It's 3:00 EST which is when the servers do their daily reboot. If you log in faster than it reboots, you end up on SMP1-3. I've done this several times and I'm on SMP7. Just have to switch servers and all is well.
